Introduction
The aim of this proposal is to describe the main technology that is going to be
implemented within the koala chocolates organization for the purpose of enhancing their
performance. In order to enhance the performance of the Koala organization it becomes essential
to implement new online ordering system that will link all the existing IT system and will
maintain a proper track of the inventory. It is expected that the developed system will be able to
process the needs of customers effectively within time. Moreover it is expected that the project
will be completed within the deadline that is provided by the senior manager of the organization.
About the technology
The new online ordering system will facilitate the customer with better opportunities. It is
expected that the online ordering system will be flexible and will ensure that better support is
provided towards the organization. The online ordering system will link towards the Koala
organization and will focus on tracking the main inventory that is mainly concerned with
processing the products. It is important to ensure that the newly implemented technology will be
able to fix the challenges that were faced earlier. In order to order chocolates from using online
system the user needs to get registered within the system. After this the user can order items
online. For the purpose of receiving the item the user needs to select appropriate location within
the map along with proper landmark so that it becomes easy to deliver the product. In order to
overcome the challenges faced while delivering the chocolates towards the customers, the system
has included Onetime password system. This will ensure that the desired product is received by
the customers. This will minimize the chances of receiving wrong chocolates. The main aim

behind developing new online ordering system within Koala is that it wants to sell the products
online. This will help the organization to expand the business as the online site can be accessed
from any part of Redfern. The system will be developed with all the necessary details regarding
the chocolates and novelty sweet. With the implementation of online ordering system the
customers of Koala will be able to choose products from a wide range of varieties and will be
able to track the orders. Moreover the system will also allow the customer to manage the
payment system along with arranging the delivery option.
The main features that are going to be offered with the implementation of newly
developed online ordering system are that it will offer the customers with different payment
options. The customers will be able to select appropriate item from the provided menu. The
delivery will reach towards the customers within the scheduled time. Apart from all this the
online ordering system will offer tracking facility. This will ensure that the waiting time is being
reduced. As soon as the delivery is being provided towards the customers, they are allowed to
share their feedback. The valuable feedback from the customer will help in managing the
activities effectively. The developed system will be flexible, easy to access and can be accessed
by getting logged in within the site. The online system will also focus on keeping a track of the
inventory stock so that it becomes easy to manage the products. This will ensure that proper alert
is being provided on the website as soon as the item gets out of stock. The purpose of online
ordering system is to enhance the performance by providing better flexibility and opportunity
towards the users. With the implementation of this technology it is expected that the organization
will be able to enhance their business performance. Thus it is expected that with the
implementation of this technology the organization will be able to develop the relationship that is
maintained between customer and organization.
