The inquiry based learning is a major approach which helps an individual to
develop professional practices (Lämsä, Hämäläinen, and Mannonen, 2020). In the
personal and professional life, inquiry based learning plays a key role by developing
different consequences for knowledge development. In the recent times, it is
essential for an individual to focus on development of inquiry based learning in order
to develop effective and precise approach. This project includes a brief discussion on
topic” An evaluation into study of technology advancement for Kodak. The main
purpose of this report is related to develop a major approaches which are helpful in
increasing business strength. Eastman Kodak company was founded in the year
1888 and is headquartered in New York, United States.

Eastman Kodak company is an American public company that is involved in
producing products related to its historic basis in analogue photography. The
company is based in Rochester, New York and provides services related to
photography. The main services provided by Kodak company relates to graphic
communications, functional printing and professional services to different companies
all across the globe (Kim, and Ahn, 2017). Eastman Kodak also have different
business segments which are are inkjet systems, Micro 3D printing and photography
based software. The Eastman Kodak company deals in providing photography
solutions to different customers on regular basis. Customer relationship
management and after sales services are two major pillars of success for Kodak
company.
The company was founded by Henry A. strong and George Eastman on 23rd
May 1892. In the 20th century Kodak company was performing at an optimum level in
the marketplace. The company was having a dominant position in field of
photography for a long period of time. The Kodak moment was famous tag line of
company through which it won hearts of millions all over the world. In the recent
times, in the late 1990s along with decline in sales of photographic world, Kodak
company faced huge loss. This decline in traditional techniques of photography was
because of digital technology based photographic methods evolution.

It is essential for a business entity to focus on weaknesses and areas of
failure in order to develop systematic approach at the marketplace. The major areas

contemporary business environment. It is essential for a business entity to focus on
retail trends in order to perform all operations in a systematic and well defined

national marketplace which are dealing in digital technology are major threats for
Kodak. The Kodak company failed because of major competitors like Nikon, Canon
and Sony which were dealing in development of digital photography. The retail
companies are also creating major obstacles for Kodak as they were dealing in
digital photography. This was a major cause of declining of company in the
international marketplace.
