INTRODUCTION
Research refers to careful consideration of study in relation to specific concern or
problem that consist different scientific method. Research can be used by a person for purpose of
identification of potential as well as new customers which helps to understand existing customers
(Chng, 2018). It helps to develop pragmatic goals and also develop strategies that assist to
overcome of business challenges. This project report includes analysation of Kolb model in order
to provide detail of learning cycle and allow a person to reflect their views during a experience.
It also explanation of Onion model which allow to described description of level of hierarchy.
MAIN BODY
Kolb reflection model
Kolb reflection model is one of reflective model that was introduced by David Kolb in
the year 1984. It is four stage model that describe ways in which a person acquire knowledge. It
is a theory which accept change on basis of experience, conceptualisation, experimentation and
reflection. Four stages included in this model allow me to share my experience over completing
research over topic of increasing employee turnover that create challenge for business (Kolb and
Kolb, 2018). At time of completing this research, there are different problems occur but I handle
these problems in effective manner that allow me to get best results. Explanation of these four
stage in context of my learning experience are mentioned below:
Concrete Experience: For purpose of completing a research, I needs to have guidance of
my teachers which provide me support to complete this research. My teacher assign me an
assignment for carry out research for purpose of topic like increasing employees turnover. For
this, I get to know about topic from different source and also I have prior knowledge about it on
basis of learning in class. I also take guidance and support from teacher in order to deeply
analyse the topic and also for completing the research in effective manner. The problem faced by
me in this is related to my struggle in managing research method and also with my poor English.
Reflective observation: It is another stage in which I try to understand the topic by my
own and also focusing on analysing reason for increasing employee turnover. There are different
reason for purpose of leaving of employees like conflicts, poor working condition, lower
payment and others. In order to complete this research, I also view research of others. It is also

important for me in order to understand data and trends. I also understand about research
methods which allow me to gather information.
Abstract Conceptualisation: In this stage, I analyse different types of primary and
secondary data which assist me to understand the topic in effective manner. It is also essential for
me in order to conduct in-depth analysis and also to visualise data through pictures, graphic and
tables. It also allow me to fund out reason and also develop strategies to overcome of problem
(Körkkö, 2021). It allow me to understand actual problem and also improve my knowledge.
Research about different topic, it is important for me to develop my knowledge an also for
improving my English.
Active experimentation: It is the final stage of this model in which I actually started to
work on my research by started to writing it. There are different types of problem occur in this
process like selection of research method for the research and also for my English. But on above
step, I ave worked over this which allow me to complete the research and also for getting good
grades.
Onion Model
It is a reflection mode that was introduced by Korthagen in their research. It allow a
model that allow a person to reflect on a experience in specific environment. I use this model in
order to reflect my views on specific topic. It is important for purpose of providing structure to
my experience and also assist me to learn on basis of it.
Mission: Mission of this research is to gather information for identifying reason for
purpose of completing research. It is important in order to improve my knowledge related to this
topic and also for identifying strategies to overcome of this problem (Nematollahi, Tajbakhsh
and Sedghy, 2021).
Identity: In order to complete this research, I am the person who is responsible for entire
work as I needs to complete it by my own.
Beliefs: In this situation, I believe that there can be different reason for this task. I rely on
different source for completing this research like primary research band secondary research. I
also include different types of data like qualitative and quantitative data.
Competencies: In this, I have face different problem like related to research method and
also for my English. In order to complete it , I focus on my research skills.

Behaviour: In order to complete this research, I find out solution in order to overcome of
problem faced by me. I also take guidance from seniors for this work which allow me to
complete my work in effective manner.
Environment: I have encounter from various problem faced by me like my poor English
that create problem for me to write research work. I also face problem for research method as
there are different types of research methods included in n environment (Schratz, 2020).
CONCLUSION
From above mentioned project report, it can be concluded that research is one of important for a
person as it allow them for purpose of identifying information through deep analysis from
different source. There are different types of model used by a person in order to reflect their
experience for doing something. These model includes Kolb model and also onion model which
allow them for purpose of explaining their experience in effective manner.
