Introduction
The Professional ethics are basic moral standards to be followed by any company. The ethical
culture of organisation is the main thing in the company which reflects the ethical behaviour
of the employees. The company, KSoft Technologies is trying to open new offices in
different country to expand their business. The report will include the ethics and

The KSoft is company which provides solution to business needs. It is Technology based
company which ensures low cost and time reduction in support service. The software
development and other services provided by the company are cost effective and trusted. The
Company planned to open new offices in different country. The external stakeholder of the
company is Shawn, hired by the company to handle all the issues with local government in
locating to different country. The manager of Shawn is Ian, internal stakeholder of the
company. The manager suggested bribing the local government person to reduce the time
delay in permit approval. The government get to know about the transactions and starts
investing. This investigation will affect the company and internal and external stakeholders
too. The legal action will be taken against the manager and Shawn under Bribery act of
country.
2. Ethics of an individual
The moral standards are things and behaviour which morally accepted. In the company, every
individual should have professional ethics which are accepted by the organisation. The
person should follow rules and maintain discipline in the company. There are major five
moral standards individual should be aware about while working for an organisation. The
moral values are: Justice, respect for property, respect for religion, honest communication,
and respect for life. There are also some rule and regulations of the organisation to be
measured and followed by an individual.
Demands behind moral issue
The manager wants to open offices in new country and start their as soon as possible. The
growth of stopped and the government approval process is too slow. The external stakeholder
Shawn told the manager and explained the situation. The manager insisted to pay to the
government person who can resolve approval issue of the company KSoft. The manager
insisted Shawn to do whatever can be done to get approval for the company and start new
projects. The management was also not happy with slow process of approval. The
stakeholder, Shawn was unhappy by the decision because of moral standard. The company
once paid for the approval then it was only thing to be done for approval for other offices in
the country. The company keep paying to the government middle man person and keeps
violating the moral standards.

The act done was by the manager and Shawn was unethical which violates the ethical culture
of The KSoft Technologies. This unethical act reflects the moral standards of the employees
of the company. The external stakeholder was insisted by the manager to bribe the
government person who resolves the approval issue. The company is not serious about the
moral standards and ethical culture. This act also reflects the behaviour and environment in at
the workplace. The company is more serious about their new projects and can do anything to
resolve the issue. The company can take unethical actions for managing and dealing with any
kind of the issue. The company is more focused on the expansion and open new offices in
different country. The manager has no idea or takes country’s bribery act casually.
4. Ethical Guide in KSoft
The company’s code of ethic should be followed by all the employees in the KSoft
Technologies. The employees should be aware about the moral standards and ethical
behaviour. The employees’ behaviour and attitude over other employees and customers
should not violate the ethical culture. The ethical guide includes major ethical rules which are
to be followed by every employee of the company. These are as follows:
Taking care of assets
The employees should be enough responsible for assets which are used. The company’s
property should be protected and managed by the employees, which comes under
organisational ethical culture.
Environment at workplace
The work environment should be ethically good and all the laws and rules of the company
should be followed. The employees should manage integrity at the workplace.
Prior notice
The employees should give a notice if they are unable to come to office. The act of being
absent without any notice is also comes under unethical activities. The company should also
provide any kind of notice to the employees at early basis.

The company should always focus on the legal activities and honest work. The employees
should not do any kind of work illegally which violates the rules and moral standards of the
company. The company should take strict actions against any kind of illegal act like bribery,
corruption. These acts can defame the company in the market.

The employee should be well groomed and in proper dress code. The dress code also reflects
the ethical behaviour of the employee in the organisation. The dress code should be followed
by every employee of the organisation.

stakeholders are at risk. The external stakeholder Shawn was directly involved in the bribery
act. The violation of government policy and taking approval illegally by paying to
government officer will put Shawn into risk. The manager was also involved indirectly, so he
will be also guilty. The penalty of 10,000 points which are equals to fine of $2,100,000
individually. This act will also defame the company in the market. The company should
manage everything to hide the act.

The act done by the company’s employee reflects the unethical behaviour of the company.
The company will get defame if the act comes in limelight. The company can still provide
services to the potential customers which will not be affected enough. The business will still
grow and work effectively.

The company’s leading team should take care of ethical behaviour and moral standards in the
company. The team leaders should instruct other employees to work ethically and do legal
things. The company should not follow or act as violating organisation ethical culture. The
company should follow rules and regulation of the government and work ethically.

The manager and external stakeholder should be insisted to follow legal methods to take
approval for opening offices. The company should also be strict to employees for violating

ethical culture. The company should try to talk to government and pay the fine at early basis
for violating the policies of the country. It should be done by the higher authorities of the
company who are required to take necessary actions.
