Introduction
Role of operation management
The operation management is mainly concerned with the planning, organizing and supervising
the process and its production so that the providing of the services can be attained (Shabanpour.
and Seifi, 2015). It mainly focuses on the inputs and the outputs that need to be delivered
efficiently. The input mainly represents the costs of the raw material purchased, equipment and
technology and the number of staffs that is required for delivering the tasks. The main objective
of the report is to explain the operational process of Italian Baker which is situated in Malaysia.
The assignment looks forward to helping of transformational process diagram for ensuring the
effectiveness of the organization. Operation management system is the core process used for
manufacturing or implementing any services in a company (Jin et al. 2017). Its main aim is to
focus on the expansion of the business to produce more services; it simply deals with the design
and management of the services by utilizing valuable resources.

The Italian baker is a bakery chain that is based in Selangor. Its brand is packed in 3 colors and
generally baked with the combination with the green, white and red. The bread is baked with the

can be noted on the fact that the Selangor generally produces 16,000 pieces of bread with
package full of loaves and 25,000 as daily buns.
