AI Summary
This presentation analyses social change in a globalised world through the lens of labour migration, focusing on the International Labor Organization (ILO) and its role in protecting migrant workers' rights. It addresses challenges such as unhygienic living conditions and violence against female workers, using concepts like global care chains to understand the dynamics. The presentation critically evaluates the usefulness of these theories in explaining and understanding the social harms associated with global capitalism and labour migration. Globalisation: International labor Organization
Introduction
Globalisation is the concept by which the business world and world
itself is interconnecting as a outcome of massively increased trade
ad cultural exchange The concept of the Globalization can be
defined as the concept by which the business world and world itself
is interconnecting as an outcome of massively increased trade and
cultural exchange. But apart from this globalization also tend to
lead to a vast range of social changes in the globalized world.
Further, the concept of the capitalism tend to comprises of the
economic system in which private actors own and control property
in accord with their interests, and demand and supply freely set

Overview of organisation
Conclusion
ANALYSIS:
The organisation selected for current project is well know the
United Nations agency who is working for the betterment of the
rights of the migrant labour for the world of work. Further, it has
been seen that the main role and duties of the International law
organisation comprises of the setting of the international labour
standards, promotes rights at work and encourages decent
employment opportunities, the enhancement of social protection
and the strengthening of dialogue on work-related issues (Leal,
Marques and Shahbaz, 2021).
Challenges of Labor Migration
Unhygienic and polluted living condition which is highly
vulnerable to the health problems and causing the issues in
breathing and other sickness issues (Leal and Marques, 2021).
Violence against the female workers by their husbands and the
other male staff at the workplace is also the challenge that labors
encounter in the migration for the jobs and wages (Lingard, 2021).
Thus it is concluded that the social change due to the
globalization has many consequences on the lives of the labor
but the organizations that care of rights of the labor while they
migrate use theories and phenomena like global care theory to
protect them, from such issues.
