1COMMUNICATION PLAN
1. Communication Rule
Among four rules of communication, the selected rule is Keep Current. The main key
of this communication rule is dealing with the problem rapidly. Based on this rule, the person
should not be worry about tomorrow, as tomorrow will be worried about itself (Rahman et
al., 2017).
2. Apply rule to advantage as project manager
As a project manager, my suggestion is to be focused on give no opportunity in
addition to take awareness for handling the situation rapidly. Reason behind handling the
situation quickly is that next day, it would possible that enough trouble would come.
Therefore, addressing the issues rapidly will help to get success. From discussion, it is found
that major persons result in project failure are project team, resource manager and team
members, therefore as project manager it would require to communicate with them (Jena &
Satpathy, 2017). Communication helps to identify project failure reasons and take actions to
mitigate it.
3. Three communication skills
Listening: This communication skills help to understand verbal and written
information. It helps to understand how speaker is feeling at the time of interaction. It helps
to build stronger relationships with stakeholders by listening to their problems and
suggestions.
Straight talking: It helps to start friendly conversation with the project stakeholders. It
leads to build mutual faith in addition to identify issues before it becomes serious. Straight
chatting can subject towards corporate opportunity (Rahman et al., 2017).
