INTRODUCTION
Operation management refer to the business practice through which an organisation
achieve highest level of efficiency to complete their work. It is a process through which an
organisation covert raw materials into finished goods and services to increase the profit for their
business. Logistic and supply chain management is process of planning, monitoring and
controlling the activities of an organisation by creating co-ordination between them. This helps
them to deliver its products to right customers with in minimum time at right price. The present
assignment is written in context of Land Rover which is an automotive company that deliver
their cars among overall world (Arboletti and et. al., 2014). It is a British Luxury automotive
brand which manufactures customise cars for customer and its headquarter is situated in
England.
Main Body
This task cover two areas in which Land Rover increases their efficiency through
adopting different management theories like TQM, six sigma, lean management etc. Their are
two management areas are adopted for this report. In which one is managing people in operations
and supply chain and other is managing quality. It helps them to accomplish their goals with
more efficiency by utilising available resources with in minimum time period.

It is important for every organisation to increase the productivity of their products or
services through implementing new technology in their business (Shishank and et. al., 2019).
Because it helps them to attract more number of customers for their products which results that
there is increase in sale of their products. Quality management is action of overseeing all task

theories of operation management is as follow:

process is to increase the return on their investment through which business performance of the
organisation will increased. In context of land rover, management adopted BPR process through
which it is easy for them to design new infrastructure that helps them to retain in industry for

management executes different redesign process through developing methods of cost-reduction

management of Land Rover to expand their market area through implementing changes that
