INTRODUCTION
A marketing report is a set of data which is created by the organisation in order to analyse
the performance of a particular marketing campaign. It is been used by the companies the
effectively communicate marketing strategy of the company which comprises different research,
promotional techniques, marketing goals and different results. The main purpose of marketing
report is to generate critical information about market place in which company operates, it also
tell about the target customers from which company have to deal and the client company w ant
to reach(AlMarwani, 2020) . The report is being made in the context of Land Rover, which is a
UK based car company. The aim of this report is to highlight the SWOT analysis on the basis of
the company with the identification of marketing challenges for the next 3 years. It also covers
the theoretical principles of service and marketing.
TASK
Analysis of the strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threat (SWOT) facing the
organisation based on properly referenced sources.
SWOT analysis is the techniques which is assessed by the organisation in order to kn ow
the current position of the company in terms of market. It include 4 aspects of the business
which helps in detail analysis of in what organisation is best now and develop successful strategy
for the future. The basic motive of this analysis to analyse the challenges and building strategies
to overcome from those strategies. The SWOT analysis of Land Rover company are discussed
below:
Strengths Weaknesses
It states the internal positive elements of the
company such as at what process business is
successful? , What are the competitive
advantage that a company have in market? and
What are the assets that company have in their
team. In the context of Land Rover, their
strength includes their strong performance
It states the negative factors that distract from
the strengths. These are the aspects which
might need improvement in order to be more
competitive. This includes things which
business need to improve, tangible assets
company requires and the gap which requires
to be fulfilled. In the context of the Land

during pandemic which provides growth I its
online rating, their huge market share as it
contains major of the share and their constant
innovation in accordance to customer
expectations.
Rover, they also possess some weaknesses that
are customer management which requires to be
managed effectively, technical issues which are
lacking in accordance to customer
expectations.
Opportunities threats
It states that all the external factors in the
company's business environment which are
likely to make contributions in the success of
the company. It includes some growing trends
in the market that encourages people to buy
more products , upcoming events in the market
that may provide benefits to the company and
changes to regulations that may impact
company positively. In the context of the Land
Rover, there are multiple opportunities for car
sector such as growth of online portals to
provide knowledge about different cars sales in
the pandemic, high unemployment rates which
helps in generating more employees in the
company and rise of alternatives .
It states the external factors that company has
no control over. But it affects the functioning
of the company. These factors includes
potential competitors that is entering in the
market, change in technology or development
in the competitive market and change in the
behaviour of the consumer. In the context of
Land Rover, the common threats are increment
in the competition in car sector, economic
rescission in the UK and effects of the Brexit
and supply chain which affects imported in car
industry.

Marketing challenges are basically all the issues and the problems which the company is
analysing in their working and productivity(Hajizadeh, 2019) . The weaknesses of company
complies to have issues and challenges that will impact on the overall functioning and position
of any business . Talking in the context of Land Rover following to their next 3 years the
weaknesses which the company is dealing with are as under:

Legal conflicts : Land Rover is engaged with a lot of legal compliances from the last
three years with different brands for the use of its patents without their knowledge which
have an impact of rise of legal fees which is impacting the revenue of the firm and on the
image of the business. The company should solve the legal procedures as early as
possible in order to avoid any other losses to the company.
Lack of diversification: The company is unable to reach out to different markets outside
Europe which lack the company to grow and have a geographical reach and retain a
competitive strengths in the market. It should come up with products and develop
strategy on how they will reach the different markets in order to increase its shares.
By looking at the threats which are the factors which effects the companies position negatively
from outside (Massó Bort, 2022) . In the context of Land Rover the following are the threats
which are being faced by the company from the last 3 years which are as under: Increased competition:The company is facing an increased competition in its car
industry from the past 3 years as many other competitors are also providing the same
products with the same prices in the market which is impacting the companies growth.
The company should come up with variations in their products by changing its products
completely so that they become capable of engaging more customer's in the market.
Economic recession:The company is facing economic recession from the past years
because of reduction in the purchasing power of its customers and also due to the
increased rate of unemployment in the marketplace these are the main causes for the
economic recession faced by the company(Sumarwan, 2019) . The company can solve
this problem by offering various discounts and offers to the customers which will attract
them to visit the stores and will force them to buy our products and also generating
employment opportunities for the people so that they have a purchasing power.

provide recommendations to overcome challenges within the constraints of strengths
and opportunities.
Theoretical principles of service marketing covers the framework of 4Ps of marketing mix.
These P's covers the element that are product, price, place and promotions in the company
context. The marketing strategy in the context of 4Ps are discussed below:
Product- The challenges and the threat that Land Rover is facing in its product is some
technical issue and they are not providing car in accordance to trends and expectations of
customers. In order to overcome from these challenge Land Rover should work on new
market strategies which is made on the basis of research and in depth survey(Westwood,
2022). And quality issue can be resolved by manufacturing department as they are not
using quality raw materials.
Price- The prices of the product and services of Land Rover company are reasonable as
they produces products in appropriate quantities and then sale them at prices which is
suitable as per their strategy. But with that there is a issue of inventory management in
the organisation which can be resolve by opening suitable warehouses near supermarkets.
Place- As per the research Land Rover is not facing any issues related to their
distribution strategy. The company is providing their services at right places to the right
people (Teoli, Sanvictores and An, 2019) . In order to resolve these issues, Land Rover
should resolve this issue by enhancing their channel and networks of distribution.
Promotions- Land Rover have strong brand image and they stick to their pricing strategy.
For the advertising Land Rover is using televisions ads, magazines advertising and many
more. In order to make more impact on the customers they should implement different
offers on different products. They should innovate their product regularly in order to
attract more customers.
CONCLUSION
From this report we have concluded that marketing report is a set of data that enables a company
to know whether all the marketing plans are going in the right direction and how to further
improvise them to increase the productivity of any business. In this report we have analysed the
market with the context of Land Rover and all the factors which can impact the business which
