unreasonable. The rule of law supports the harmony as well as protection in a nation. The
Charter renders some basis at the global level for establishing friendly relationship between the
states as independent equals. In Australia, the human rights are properly protected because
Australian legal system is based on the rule of law. The rule of law is helpful in promoting the
comprehensive financial development. In addition, the rule of law also creates responsible
institutions to reinforce the sustainable growth. In societies, wherever the rule of law is
practiced, the individuals have the opportunities to get similar protection at the time of violation
of rights. It can also see that the common law of Australia renders specifically strong protection
for the freedom of speech in relation to the party-political or governmental matter and public
affairs1. This essay discusses that how the Australian legal system adequately protects the human
rights by adopting rule of law.
