MAIN BODY
1. Key things which I learned during the last two weeks?
In the last two weeks, I learned various kinds of acts and their role in practical life. These
aspects and acts can be applied in real life. In the last few weeks I taught two separate
units which are 15 and 16. The unit 15 was based on European Communities Act 1972. In
such unit, I learned about extent to which EU laws effects MS laws as well as about
direct effect and notion of supremacy of EU Law. In the end of unit, I was able to know
about European Communities Act 1972 which was the form of policy that incorporated
the United Kingdom into the Euro zone: it grants precedence to EU rule over regional
law in the United Kingdom (Smith, 2020). As a result, on 1 January 1973, Britain had
become a part of the European Community (EEC).On the other hands, in unit 16, I
learned about importance of the European Human Rights Assembly along with act 1951.
2. Relation to workplace.
The above mentioned laws and acts can be used in real life and workplaces. This is so
because act 1972 works in the cases when there is issue of courts between Europe and
United Kingdom. This act can be useful in the context of companies which are working
in different states of United Kingdom and any other nation of Europe.
Apart from this, act 1951 can also be used in the cased when there is issue related to
roaming in one country to another country. The aim of this act is to protect right of
people who are from UK and facing issue in another country regards to their rights and
powers.
3. Role in personal and professional development.
The above mentioned acts can be useful for me to deal with various kinds of issues and
circumstances. By help of proper learning I will be able to use learned information in the
cases where rights of people have been harassed in a negative manner. Herein, this is
important to know that not each and every people have enough knowledge about such
acts and laws. The person who has enough information about such acts can play a huge

role to deal and help out those people who faced issues by another person. I am fortunate
that I have detailed knowledge about acts. For instance, there is a person who lives in
United Kingdom and planned to tour Australia. After reaching the Australia, if that
person’s right harassed by any Australian individual or authority than that person can
make contact with UK government under human rights act 1951. By help of such act, he
will be able to disclose complete case information and issue which he faced by Australian
authority. Basically, this act is aimed to protect each individual who has citizenship of
United Kingdom and goes in another country to visit and face issue (De Schutter, 2019).
