1. Introduction
This report is a case study based on the software solutions provided by Lawson
Company. There are a lot of software solutions that have been developed by Lawson
Company. The aim of this project is to choose among all the software solutions, and
five, and provide its description such as its functionalities, benefits, purpose, etc. The
software chosen for this project is Hospitality management solution, Fashion PLM,
Risk and compliance software, Talent management software and Learning
management system. Most of the software mentioned is based on a cloud platform.
Hospitality management solution has to provide the customers with a great guest
experience during their stay to ensure flexible check-in and checkouts. Fashion PLM
software is meant for the fashion industry where the changes occur so frequently that
managing them gets difficult hence this software will help in incorporating the
changes quickly into the business process. Risk and compliance software have been
built to monitor the risk occurring in the businesses and to control them using the
compliance software. Talent management software can be used by an organization to
make the best decisions regarding the employees and the company. Learning
management system is built to enhance the employee training with continuous
learning provided by this platform.
