LAX airside
Runways airside:- It is an area around the aircraft having tightly controlled access and there are
buildings parts that are only accessible to the respective staff members and passengers(Mirković,
and Tošić, 2017).

Taxiway airside:- Taxiway airside is an area that is mainly used by the aircraft in order to move
from runways and parking areas. They are lined with blue lights in order to make them
differentiate from runways airside.

Airside Aprons:- It is an area where aircraft are parked at an airport.

ATC airside:- Air traffic control is a controller that monitor and control the aircraft in the
respective airspace with the help of radar and also it communicates to pilots with the help of

MRO airside:- It is maintenance, repair and overhaul facility at airport and is having
responsibility with respect to safety of passengers and aircrew with strict requirements by
airworthiness authorities. Figure:- 5
Hangars:- It is building that is used to hold the aircraft and to protect it from different weather
conditions and manufacture and maintenance of aircraft also take place in this building only.

Firefighting rescue:- It is a fire fighting tool that helps that passengers to rescue from an airport
emergency(Harrison And et.al., 2017).

Gates at airside:- It is a location at airport that allows the passengers to wait for their respective
flights and have both entrance and exit.

Concourses:- There is a building at airport that gives the provides access to the air planes with
respect to a gateway and is known as concourses.

Here passengers purchase tickets and transfer their luggage with the help of security.

Parking:- It is at a short walking distance from the terminal where cars are park for the facility
of passengers.
