I have evaluated that undertaking this course has helped me improve my business and design knowledge
exponentially. Before this foundation course I was only aware about theoretical knowledge about
businesses design and was not competent in terms of applying these theories to come up with own
original business design. But after this project I have learned capabilities regarding creation of own
business project. Business knowledge can only be gained through practical application of theories
because it is a dynamic subject (Olalla and Merino, 2019). My most important strength are my
research skills which have helped me excel in other areas of academia and I am sure that I will be able to
apply my research skill to get effective results. My weakness is my communication skill because
sometime I face barrier of effectively labelling my work and ensuring that it is in a proper structure so
that the end result is communicated properly. I am grateful to the teaching faculty for the experience
because it will help me a lot in my future career.
Section2:ProjectConcept(approx. 250 words)
I have selected the theme of sustainability for my business project. This theme will be supported
through research of the project and in the final business project design included in the portfolio.
Several techniques will be implemented to ensure that the project of high quality such as using
mind map to brainstorm ideas. I will also be creating a detailed business project which includes
the elements of unique selling point, marketing mix and branding features. The name of the
brand which will be prepared in the business project is Lunar Fashions. It is an online fashion
marketplace which will facilitate sale or renting of second hand clothing items weather it is

luxury, vintage clothing item or handmade sustainable second hand fashion product. Lunar
fashions will primary operate through own application and website with no physical store.
Several measures will be introduced to promote quality transaction and protect user experience.
The proposed business project will support sustainability by acting as an alternative for fast
fashion supporting and reducing unnecessary wastage of fashion products. I will be applying
both primary and secondary research for the project. Primary research has the advantage of
providing recent information while secondary research helps get in depth data about existing
knowledge (Strobel and et. al., 2021). The primary research will help me create detailed
business project while secondary research will support me in understanding the current
information available about sustainable fashion so that my end business project is viable.

My plan regarding the business project is detailed with specific focus on sustainability.
Therefore, I certain that my efforts will not go wasted an I will get good results from the

will use both peer feedback and faculty feedback to guide my project. I will email my peers few
section of the project so that I am able to use their perspective as feedback to make future
improvements. The action of taking feedback is essential in continuously improving own
quality (Pesämaa,Larsson and Eriksson, 2018). These actions will help me reflect on the
quality of the project and ensure that results f highest quality are delivered finally. I will also
evaluate the presentation after its completion so that I am able to find any mistakes and
eliminate them to get successful results.
