INTRODUCTION
 Operations management can be defined as dealing with day to day activity or
the issues at the workplace. On the other hand, project management is a
important concept that includes planning, organizing, motivation of employees
and at the last controlling. This project is about the LCC educational campus
which is planning to shift their premises into the new location. LCCA is known
as London College of Contemporary Arts. It is situated in the United kingdom.
They are planning to move from the Holborn city.

Project aims and objectives
 Aims
 Main aim of this project is to shifting of the LCCA from the
Holborn city to the new office premises.
 Objectives
 To achieve the objective of the project in 6 months.
 To expand the educational activities of the LCCA.

Define a project, its characteristics and the
role of the project manager.
 Planning: It is the main role of the project manager as they decide the action plan of the
project. According to this plan they carry out the activities of the project.
 Leading: It is the another main roles of the project manager as they act like a leader when they
carry out the activities of the project. They keep on motivating the employees towards the goals
of the project so that they can become able to generate more revenues in the marketplace.
 Execution: It is one of the main role of the project manager as they mainly execute the
activities of the project into the actions. Project managers helps the organisation to achieve the
certain goals of company.

 They always act as a leader while they carry out the project work. They
critically analyses the problems of the employees at the workplace so that
project work cannot be delayed.
 One of the main characteristics of the project managers is that they always
ensures that take effectively decision regarding the project. They

Agile methodology
 Better control: This methodology of the project
will help the project managers of the LCCA to
effectively manage the activities in order to shift
the premises to the new location. It is one of the
main benefit of this methodology.

benefit of this method. Through this project
managers of the LCCA becomes able to make
changes in the activities of the project.

 Project methodology that will be using in this project
will be the Agile methodology. As it is one of the most
effectively methodology that can be used in order to
regulate the functions of the particular project. In
regards to the manager of the LCCA project, this
methodology will help them to break down the project
into the many phases. This project methodology will
also help them to take regular support from the
stakeholder as they are planning to shift the
educational campus into the new boundary.

Initiation Stage
 It is the first stage of the project
that the managers undertake. In this stage
managers of the project turns the
effective ideas into the specific goals or
the objectives. In this stage managers
mainly focus on that which kinds of
values should be derived from the
particular project that will be executed at
the workplace.

Project charter
 Project charter can be defined as the
document which states that the project is
in the written form and is really exists.
Main function of the project charter is
that it helps in understanding the goals
and the objectives of the project.

Identify stakeholders
 High power, high interest: Main stakeholder
of this project will be the investors and the
administration department of the educational
campus. As they are the owner of the campus
and administration department is directly
linked with the functioning of the campus.
They have high power and also high interest
with the shifting of the LCCA to the new
office premises.
