INTRODUCTION
Operations Management is a phenomena and a practice which
deals with keeping the main focus on making processes most
effective and efficient and rendering the best performances by
way of outcomes to the entity. The operations management
approaches are value adding to the processes that takes place
on daily basis in the company by implementing number of
techniques and approaches. The present assignment is
developed on Management and Operations of the chosen
organisation that is Starbucks. It is an American multinational
coffeehouse chain which was founded in 1971 and
headquartered in Seattle, Washington. The company is a
leading brand in the respective industry working on the leading
positions in domestic and international markets both. The
presentation conducts discussion and examination on number
of aspects related to operations management where at first roles
and characteristics of leaders and managers are compared.

roles and responsibilities which they performed in favour of
