Management is considered as process of administration of an organization or group of
people. It also can be considered as process of controlling and dealing with things. Leadership is
known as activity to direct or guide group of people or an organization. Both leadership and
management are important for performance of the organization in the target market. In an
organization role of leader and manager is most important (Renz, 2016). This report is providing
brief of leadership and management for Primark Stores Limited. It is an Irish multinational fast
fashion retail organization. It was established by Arthur Ryan in year 1969 at Dublin Ireland.
Primark is operating on 373 stores around the world. In this report role of leader and functions of
manager will be analysed in detail. Various leadership and management theories and models will
be provided in the study to better understand their approaches with in an organization. The
importance of leader and manager will be analysed for the effective operation management with

Create Vision- This is role of leader to create a vision for organization to direct the functions of
Primark Stores Limited in the target market. This vision helps the managers to define the
operational strategy of company. This is all about giving direction to the employees and
managers of organization to maintain effective operations with in organization.
Motivate Employees- This is also role of leaders in organization to motivate employees to keep
them efficient and satisfied with in the work place. Employee motivation is most important for
