INTRODUCTION
Management refers to management of work, people or things on order to accomplish the
individual as well as organizational goals . It includes preparation, creation, personnel, leading
and dominant in which management plays vital role (Keay. 2018). This report will illustrate the
concept with the reflective part in order to describe the perception of manager within an
organization regarding varied theory.
MAIN BODY
Reflection
Management theories refers to the set of generic concept and guidance require to manage
the organization. Management theories highlights the roles of supervising, administration and
team execution. It can be managed in three levels in organization such as top-level, central level,
lower level (Goleman,2018). It gives assistance in increasing occupation efficiency, introduce
the rules of operative procedures and amend skills as well as abilities .
According to my perception in management theories classical theory is too old for this
emerging modern world. Because ,modern generation of employees not believe or motivated by
their physical needs or financial needs, and they expected to treated employees like machine in
order to complete work on time in an appropriate manner but the employees do not want to work
like machines do. In my opinion compare to classical theory behavioural management theory is
much better as this theory focuses on workers inevitably, understanding and improving their
issues. It also leads to human rights in which human workers are treated as assets for the
organization to accomplish structured goal and render employee satisfaction. With the help of
this particular theory, the employees and workforce are able to feel motivated in order to work
hard because according to the recent scenario employees do not work only for wages, but for
honour and their personal development.
With my personal experience I have evaluated that managers plays a vital role within an
administration which also requires lots of skills and knowledge in order to manage the firm.
When I was in my previous organization, I have experienced certain things which has been done
by my manager. Once when my colleague had a medical emergency, and he was unable to work,
at that particular point of time the behaviour of our manager was not at all appropriate according
to me. The manager was only concerned about the work that should be completed within proper

time duration at any cost, even at the cost of someone's health. He denied my colleague to take
leave for their bad health issue and forced him to complete their task. As per my views, it was
inappropriate at that particular point of time to behave like this with any employee who requires
support and help by the employer.
When my colleague share this particular situation with me, I analysed and created my
views on that particular situation that along with the organizational goals, manger had to
consider the employees and their welfare by resolving their problems and cooperate with them
by providing satisfaction upto a considerable level. Manager has to develop friendly and
optimistic environment within the organization which must be acknowledged by the employees
so that they can make appropriate decisions while conducting their work tasks. With that
particular situation, I reminded the classical theory of management which I had learned while I
was in my college. According to the theory, the employees are only focused about their amount
of wages but with that situation I realized that this particular concept is not at all applicable in
practical terms. It provides me an idea that employees are not only working for wages. Their
main aim is not to earn monetary satisfaction but also earning respect and recognition within the
office premises. They like to be feel significant for the organization. Most of the employees try
their level best to provide their maximum and contribute in the expansion of the organization. In
exchange for that they want full corporation and support from the management of the firm.
After evaluating the complete situation that has been explained above, I have realized that
in order to become an appropriate manager, there are certain skills and requirements that I have
within me which helps me in my future terms to become an effective manager within an
organization. In my opinion, I am wonderful at creating prosperous relationships with my
colleagues by motivating them as well as provide them guidance in order to fulfil specific tasks
according to the specific requirements. I have identified my this type of ability when I was
assigned a task to lead a team of 10 members in which I have to complete our assignment within
given time frame. At that point of time initially I felt very nervous but gradually I managed to
distribute the tasks according to their skills and abilities so that each one of them are able to
perform better. When the result announces by my manager, they really appreciated me for my
effective management and leadership abilities. From that day I realized my strengths and want to
persuade my career in that similar field in which I am fantastic enough to move forward my
career.

I have good listening as well as speaking abilities to make communication effective and
convincing for others in order to motivate them to do their assignments expeditiously (Suryani
and et.al., 2017). From very initial stage even of my studies, I have in-built interest that are
related to leading and managing people by taking appropriate decisions according to the
situations. Although I have to improve my emotional; intelligence ability as personally I feel that
I am lack somewhat behind in handling employees or team, members in practical manner
because I am an emotional kind of personality. Hence, with improving and adopting these
abilities I can see myself as an appropriate manager in my future career terms in reputable
organization.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that manager plays key role within the
organization and responsible for industrial growth. The theories which are founded in ancient
time and not applicable in modern era. The new emerging world required new theories for
guiding the workers.
