Inspiring Leadership Capstone Project Report
My action plan for leadership improvement
My leadership reflection
What do I appreciate about myself?
My five days’ workshop and the Boston journey caused a lot of impact in my leadership life.
Regarding initiating changes, I can now comfortably assess the extent of any problem that
emerges in an organization (Dombrowski & Mielke, 2013).
Then engage in proper planning to implement the changes by investigating the speed at which
the business organisation can absorb the difference(Dionne et al., 2014).
Am capable of determining the other factors that can impact the change negatively.
What areas can I be a better version of myself?
The other thing to take care as a way of leadership improvement is taking the break and
encouraging other employees in doing the same as well.
Every employee wants a flexible job and better-balanced work-life(Snoek & Volman, 2014).
Therefore, I will always encourage the employees in walking around the office and taking the
lunch away from the office.
I will as well reward the employees with at least a day off, especially after long working hours
seasons.
What does my team appreciate my leadership?
As a leader, another critical area I need to look into is appreciating the team that was working
with by showing how I understand their dynamics(Brewer et al., 2016).

my leadership intentions.

The problem that I am going to address in my change management project is the professional
conversations in COP.
This change is about making sure that the teachers are provided with the autonomy to make
decisions on the experiences of the children with the help of the following guidelines.

These guidelines are essential in equipping the teachers with reflective thinking.
What is the goal you would like to achieve in your capstone project?
The first goal that I want to achieve through this project is ensuring that all teachers are provided
with the platform in which they can communicate with one another.
I will be able to know I have achieved the goal in my capstone project when the COP has been
well implemented and has been scheduled as the part of PD.
The sources of the information needed
The current reality in my workplace
At the moment there is no COP among the teachers in my workplace.
The teachers are drained or burnout due to overworking.
I will use the following three tools.
Tool 1
I will use this tool in defining the opportunities and the threats (Gupta & Mishra, 2016).
There are two types of the threats.
The short-term threats. The teachers are not able to plan the purposeful engagement activities for
the children (Van den Brink et al., 2011).
