It is seen that nurse manager plays a great role in making safe and positive working
environment. It is seen that a nurse manager has a clear guidance on the overall facilities and
also the care which is necessary by the patients and the relatives at the time of healing. They
have an objective with the effects on achieving a culture which is professional at the time of
recruiting and retaining the nurses who are experts (Guyton, 2012).
By giving focus on this important role, it is seen that there is a tool which is also
identified as the Nurse Manager Inventory Tool that considers the behaviors and the talents of
the nurse manager so that they can achieve success. This tool gives permission to the nurse
manager conduct a self-analysis which can be best suited with the manager's superior's valuation
of making an growth professional plan for an individual (Upenieks & Valdam, 2003).
It is centered on the three spheres which are created by three associations related to the
national nursing. By giving focus on all these three spheres it is analyzed that I judged me as a
nurse manager. My assessment which is built on the four zones is mentioned in the following

behavior, practice which are ethical, the participation of the professional association. By giving
emphasis on the above parts, my development rate and also my educational progression, I
personally would rank me as one of a novice. It is seen that to be a nurse my ethical values and
standards are respectable to make the lead in me. My professional development is linked to my
membership with my professional organization. So, I would consider myself capable in the
sector (Contino, 2004).
Career Development
The parts of analysis in career development consist of knowing my role, knowing my
future and also in arranging me. It is essential for a nurse manager to know the recent work and
the activities should be conducted with dedication. The foresight consists of positioning yourself
