This report delves into the application of nursing leadership and management principles within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander services. It establishes a SMART goal focused on maintaining and restructuring a positive work culture. The report identifies challenges such as lack of services and medical care, along with high unemployment rates, and analyzes their impact on stakeholders, including staff and patients. It then examines desired outcomes and stakeholder needs, followed by a SWOT analysis to evaluate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The report employs GAP analysis to assess the current and ideal future states, outlining steps needed to bridge the gap. A force field assessment is conducted to identify factors driving and restraining change, such as technology, infrastructure, and workforce management. Strategic plans are proposed to address these issues, culminating in an overview of how the analyses contribute to improved service delivery and positive outcomes. References are provided to support the findings.
