worked very hard for the organisation for over 12
months. He is regarded as a great team player by
the rest of his team of 5 other staff. His team
members are also worried about his welfare.
Situation 2
The organisation has a product that is faulty or
expired. The organisation spent $40,000 in
purchasing the stock. No one else knows about the
faulty stock or the expiry date. There are many
customers who need the product urgently. If the
organisation does not sell the stock, they will lose
$40,000. If they sell the faulty stock, the customers
may have problems with it, however will not find out
till it is too late to complain to the organisation
hours in a day and 48 hours in a week. In case injury arise
to workers during course employment then I provide
proper medical treatment to them and allot proper leave
to them in order to keep them for long time.
In case goods are expired and these are considered as
faulty then companies are not able to deliver them in
market. If due to not selling loss occurred then firm have
to face such loss.

1. Using your understanding of the theories of leadership, briefly comment on the leadership style of
the leader who you interviewed in Part A. List any recommendations that you can make to help the
leader improve his leadership skills.
Solution
Interviewer follow Autocratic leadership styles because he takes decision without
discussion with other members (Course Title: Provide leadership across the organization. 2017).
The best recommendation for him is that it has to take decisions with the help of other
members. Because every person having different mindset and provide best solution for every problem.
2. Based on your findings in Part A, to what extent is there consistency between the objectives, values
and standards of the organisation and the organisation’s mission statement?
Solution
All members have to use their collective efforts in order to fulfill their mission. As they are
bound to follow rules and regulation which are imposed on them. They have to perform functions
according to requirement of company.
3. Briefly comment on the leader’s effectiveness in building and supporting teams. What specific
strategies can you suggest to improve team work within an organisation?
Solution
While members working in a team they have to share their information and views with other
members. Use their knowledge in business functions according to their capabilities. Frame effective
plans and try to implement them in order to attain their target.
4. Comment on the observed ‘culture’ within the organisation. What steps can organisations take to
develop a positive culture at the workplace?
Solution
In order to develop organizational culture members, have to follow systematic steps which are as

authorities need to provide proper training session for their employees. Aware them about culture which
have to be flow in company.

It is so important for leaders to maintain ethical conduct and professional development for company.
Because through this firms can easily attain their target and objectives.
