INTRODUCTION
There has to be a strong leader which needs to be present in any business so that there is
going to be a better understanding and the objectives of the organization are going to be
achieved. The competition in market is increasing which is why it is very essential for the
company to have a better leader so that there is going to be a good direction in which the
company can function. Jeff Bezos is having a net worth of $193 billion and is known for the
founder of Amazon and Blue Origin. He is currently the CEO and President of Amazon. The
presentation consists of skills and styles of the leaders and Jeff Bezos used to make the business
be able to achieve their objectives and goals.

Leadership skills
There are particular skills and knowledge which needs to be present in a leader so that the
business can benefit from it. Jeff creates a very flexible working environment for the employees
to work within which is going to help the employees have a friendly bond and the productivity of
the organization is going to increase and the demands of the customers will be fulfilled. Amazon
has a high reputation in the market which has to be well maintained and without a good leader
that is not going to be possible. There is a very healthy environment for the employees is created
for the employees of Amazon to work within so that there is not going to be a high turnover of
employees in the organization as per the view of (Allen and et.al., 2019). There are skilled and
hard working employees which are present in Amazon so that there is a higher brand image
which the company can create for themselves. There are a lot of opportunities which rise in front
of a leader and the leader must take out the best and use them effectively for the employees so
that the objectives can be met easily.
There is a rise in the competition in the market which will have to be measured and
accordingly the leader must select their leadership style so that they can compete in the market.
Jeff is having experience in the market which is why he knows which situation needs what kind
of style to be able to take out the best from the employees. There has to be a balance between
internal and external factors of the organization so that there is going to be lesser pressure on the

employees which is going to help the company have better performance. There is a lot of
innovation and invention taking place in Amazon which is possible when the employees are
motivated from time to time so that the trends are being followed in the organization. Changes in
any aspect in an organization does not come in easily which will have to be maintained so that
the organization is going to have unique products and services which is going to make the
organization have high sales (Welch and et.al., 2017). Jeff has created a trust bond with the
employees which is why the employees of Amazon follow him and do as he says because it is
not just the organization which is developing but so is the experience of the employees and they
are rewarded for that in Amazon.
Leadership styles
There has to be clarity in the work which is being processed in the organization and there
must be long term goals in the organization so that the distribution of work can be done
effectively. Leaders have to take the right measures so that the results are going to be positive for
the organization and for that the leaders have to be well motivated and determined so that there is
going to be a good functioning. Jeff is using democratic style of leadership so that the bond
between the employees and the leader does not break so that there is going to be a good
functioning (Carter Andrews and Richmond, 2019). There is going to be a transparency in the
organization if this leadership style is being followed in the company and that is going to make
the employees be able to interact and put forward their ideas in the company as well. There are a
lot of objectives and goals which have to be achieved and communication has to be good so that
there are changes which can come in the organization effectively without harming the reputation
and brand image of Amazon.
Jeff realized that with experience comes wisdom very quickly which comes with failure
and there is going to be a lot of knowledge which can be gained from that aspect of the
organization. There are a lot of decisions which have to be made by the organization in order to
be having a safe and healthy environment for the employees as well (Ivanova and Skara-
Mincāne, 2016). Brand image in the market has to be well maintained so that the organization
can have good internal factors. There are a lot of situations which rise in an organization which

Amazon. There has to be a strong team in the company so that there is going to be a good
performance and the customers are going to be satisfied as well which is a very essential factor
for the company to have in order to have higher profitability (Atamanova and et.al., 2019).

It is very important for the leaders to have a good skill and knowledge which comes with
experience so that they will be able to handle the organization effectively and make the company
have a good profitability. Leaders have to train and make sure that the team they have are
matching up to the expectations and standards of the company so that there is going to be a good
functioning. There should also be clarity of working so that there is a good direction which the
company is going to have so that the company can get a competitive advantage which is going to
make the organization develop in future.
