activities in attaining those objectives. For the present study, Asda is taken into
consideration. It is a British supermarket chain that was established in year 1949 and
headquartered in England, United Kingdom. The main purpose of the study is to identify
the impact of organizational leadership on business activities and operations of a
company
1.1 Identify a specific researchable topic area:
Organizational leadership plays vital role within a company as it allow to set plans
and accomplish objectives with high efficiency. In addition to this, it communicates the
vision and mission, develop strategic plans and also motivate individuals to put their full
potential in order to attain objectives within stipulated time period. It also assist company
in managing and implementing all the activities and operations in an effective and proper
manner that further leads to achievement of higher growth and success at marketplace.

Organizational leadership is important for motivating, facilitating and directing
employees in order to achieve objectives. In the present time period, Asda is facing issue
as its employees feel dissatisfied because they did not get rewards as per their
performance. This decline the productivity and efficiency of employees that further
decline the performance of organization at marketplace. With the help of transactional
leadership, the higher authorities are able to emphasis on the role of supervision as well
as good performance. Leaders and managers who implement such style use rewards to
motivate or encourage staff members. It also motivate employees to work with full
potential in order to attain objectives within set time frame.
