INTRODUCTION
Entrepreneur or leaders required various skills in order to manage people, resource for
achievement of common goals. Effective communication, creative, innovative and ability to take
risk are some of the skills that are required to start a business. Leaders have both soft and hard
skills so that they can easily influence and motivates maximum number of people thus help in
completion of particular task within limited time and cost. Leaders should have ability to
understand views, ideas of other and ability to resolve different problem that are faced by
individual while performing task. Therefore all such qualities, skills of leaders and entrepreneur
help in growth and success of enterprise in the market. This report is an reflection about
development of leadership and business skills that helps me to get various opportunity in future
career. Therefore, it clearly describe about various stages of development of skill in personal life
that have give me advantages to become successful and great entrepreneur or business man in
personal and professional life. Decision making, problem solving, effective communication and
delegation are some of the skills cover in report for future development.
1 Effective communication and delegation
Communication is one of the most important skills that is required in every field in order
to effective share views, ideas to each other. Most of employer oversees whether an individual
have good communication or not before hiring them as it is required for effective performance

During my session our lecture has teach us various method and theories that can be used
to effective communicate with each others. As per lecture view leaders or entrepreneur must

of session most of the student have learn both verbal and oral communication for effectively

performed within minimum time. Lecture has also told about various medium that act as barrier
in effective communication such as noise, language barrier, culture or psychological or mental

I was very excited to know about different method of communication that can be used by

delegation skills are already present in each individual but as soon the session start I get to know
that for effective communication individual must have sufficient knowledge about vocabulary,

From the previous experience I have decided to search about more information related to

3 Effective Team work
Large organisations have number of employees that work together so that particular task
can be completed and firm can get competitive advantages. Therefore, business leaders must
have capabilities and skills to manage people so that maximum output can be gained. I have
learnt about effective team work during a session organise by our lecture so that student can
work in team in future career (Jarrahi, 2018.). Thus, Gibb’s reflective is one of the best models
that help in reflective about my previous experienced that result in learning team work skills.

get knowledge the way they have to work in team within organisation. Lectures have told that

3 Effective Team work
Large organisations have number of employees that work together so that particular task
can be completed and firm can get competitive advantages. Therefore, business leaders must
have capabilities and skills to manage people so that maximum output can be gained. I have
learnt about effective team work during a session organise by our lecture so that student can
work in team in future career (Jarrahi, 2018.). Thus, Gibb’s reflective is one of the best models

As mentioned above an session was planned by our lecture on team work so that student
get knowledge the way they have to work in team within organisation. Lectures have told that

organisation. Tutor has explained to us that leaders have special qualities to influence and attract
individual to work as team rather than separate individual so that more benefit can be get to
organisation (Adam Cobb, 2016). Therefore Leaders must have ability to work in team by
understanding each other point of view, decision and preference so that task can be performed
without any barriers. I have learnt about various qualities of effective team in the unit of team
work and session held by our lecture.
Feelings: I have learnt the concept of effective team work. I worked in the team to understand
the importance of an effective team. It is a different experience to work in a team as compare to
working at individual level. I experienced that working in a team is more efficient and contribute
more effectively in the overall development of an individual. Leaders needs to assign various
operation responsibilities to different individual (Polis and et.al., 2017). Team work allowed all
individuals to learn the ways that support observing the skills and capabilities of other team

monitor and control and activities of other team members. I have analysed that it is crucial for
the team leaders to take regular updates from all the team members about the operations. This
factors drives team leaders to improve the efficiency of all team members and also to make the
team as an effective team.
