Introduction
Leadership is a talent to motivating people or group of people to act for achieving a
common goal. Leadership direct colleagues and workers with a strategy to meet the needs of the
organization. Leadership skills and behaviors that donate greater performance known as the
competencies of leadership (Sharma & Jain, 2013). Organizations assist the development and
identification of the leaders for today’s generation by the acceptance of an attitude to leadership
that is competency-based. Social intelligence, emotional intelligence, prudence, interpersonal
skills, decision making, courage, conflict management, area competence, political skills,
influence skills, and expertise are leadership competencies (Amanchukwu & Stanley, 2015). In
today’s time as a leader for making a positive difference for career skills and competence are
necessary (Smith & Lewis, 2012). As a leader my role will be mainlining and planning, systems
of work, policies, and procedures that encourage and enable the best performance of other
resources and people within the unit of business.
Literature review
The organization achieves new heights under the skills of leadership in today’s time that
are necessary for the success of a business. Today’s time is the age of worldwide competition,
organizations have come to recognize the need for innovations and innovative approaches in
their strategies and organizational models. This is evidence from the publications and recent
reports that the organizations from differ geographic nations and regions expend a substantial
amount for the invention and the ratio of distributing the resources for invention is continuously
increasing. The organization that looks for sustainability and excellence in businesses, thinks
about leadership with the support of an innovative approach to establish the strategies of business
by turning inventive concepts in reality. Innovation is the sculpture of reacting the technological

and market challenges with the tendencies of future of businesses in an appropriate way that lead
businesses to sustainability and long term success. This is essential to make the services, goods,
and compatible models of businesses for the potential demand of the market and needs of the
customer to meet the goals of the organization with sustainable development. Leadership
observed, manage, and handle changes successfully. Following are the importance of leadership
in the business.
Pro-activeness
Leadership skills enhance the ability of reactiveness. Leaders do not plan they perform.
Leaders identify and apply the most productive and reliable applications within the organization

I desired to work as a senior account. This position has a great responsibility as a leader
to run the organization regularly. The role of senior accountant in business is to respond
continually to altering expectations of organizations, societies, and financial markets. Senior
accountant supports organization in a wide range of job functions and has a diverse role at many
levels. Accountant learns skills of leadership by the new responsibilities and roles in their career.
Associates degree in accounting steps an early level position as a leader. Roles of a senior
accountant is responsible for all financial aspects of the business with required specialized
knowledge and technical skills in areas like tax, financial reporting, and treasury. This ensures
the support and development of business. Senior accountant maintains and adds values to
employers with public trust and relevance to fulfill the traditional responsibilities as a leader.
Senior accountant builds quality of public segments outcomes and accountability. As a leader
senior accountant fulfill compliance by risk and internal control requirements, legal and
regulatory requirements of the market. The focus is on supporting strategy development,
