The appropriate solution will be option three that is meeting Jacob as well as an
employee for solving the issues. It is important to solve the conflict along with any other
issues by communicating with both factors of the scenario. Jacob was involved in sexual
harassment as well as mistreatment with his subordinates.
It is important to build up stronger policies regarding this mistreatment along with
sexual harassment to reduce such activities within the organization. Besides, there should be
a clear and easy procedure for filing any complaints.
Case study 2
Maxine has worked for around 17 years and has good experience in the agency.
Therefore, option 3 is the appropriate approach to give a fair chance to everyone. Only a
written test cannot measure the capability of a person to be a good leader.
According to Ugaddan & Park (2017), administrative leadership has a wider scope for
influencing the engagement of the employee. Therefore, a comprehensive set of selection
criteria is important to analyze the capability of the candidate in delivering the job. Apart
from the test results, experiences in the agency, interpersonal skills, ability to motivate and
other such leadership skill is important.

An ethical dilemma is generally caused due to multiple issues. The usage of illegal

to achieve success in the sales. Moreover, Ken himself nurture his subordinates to follow his
procedures and to prove their potential by competing within the organization.

Staying silent for Ali Sloan will make her also involved in immoral activities. If in
case, there is a future allegation, then she will be targeted for not giving the information in an
earlier stage.
If I were in her position then, I would at least inform my senior management and
declare the immoral activities are happening in the organization.

immoral or unethical. A practical approach is a framework that decides on real-world
situations. In this situation, he could have taken the recommendation of senior management
or from other peers. Therefore, Cody Rudisel has decided to combine the utilitarian approach
as well as the individualism approach.
