INTRODUCTION
Leadership is one of the important aspect in the business organization in which
leader lead a group and team to influence the behaviour of the employees in effective
manner. Along with this strategic leadership is an effective process to enhance ability of
individuals to take best decision in order to achieve long term success in appropriate
way. One of the important purpose of strategic leadership is to manage all the changes
within the organization and also implement it effectively. It also define the better
utilization of effective strategies to manage all the employees in which they easily
execute organizational changes (Altman and Tushman, 2017). In this aspect strategic
leaders deal in ambiguous environment in which they face various issues which
influence by external organizations. The main function of strategies leadership is to
enhance the strategic productivity which leads in encouraging employees to implement
their own ideas within the organization to achieve its goals and objectives. Present
report is based on Tesco, which is British multinational retail company that provide
grocery products to their customers in order to get higher satisfaction by them. This
report discussed about role and importance of leadership in Tesco context which helps
in managing all the changes in effective manner. Along with this, leadership styles is
also mentioned in this project. At the ned of project, key performance indicators is also
discussed in this assignment.

easily done their task with more efficiency which leads in getting strategic objectives of
the company. In Tesco context, leaders are responsible for implementing all the
changes in which they analysis overall performance of the workers and determine the
impact of changes within the business (Burton, 2017). With the help of this, leaders
easily manage all the changes in appropriate manner in order to deliver all the programs
of changes in systematic way. One of the main and important role of leader is to

well. With the help of this leader easily enhance their overall performance and
