1LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT IN PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
Leadership is an important factor that will help in the development of the working of
an organisation. According to Antonakis & Day (2017), leadership will help in the
development of the organisation and will ensure that the employees are working well in the
organisation. The leaders will help in the development of the working process of the
organisation. The leader will help in the development of the management of the organisation
motivating the interest of the employees.
In the words of Bolman & Deal (2017), leaders are the one who will help in the
development of the employees in an organisation. In Chapter 6 of Grace-full leader, the
different kinds of leaders are being explained that will help to understand the importance of
the leadership in an organisation. The leadership that is being shown in the Malden Mill
explains the way a leader not only has to be responsible but also should be responsive
(Western, 2019). The leadership qualities of Aaron Feuerstein will help to understand that a
leader must be responsive towards the actions that will help in the development of the
working process of the employees in bringing changes in the organisation.
Other leadership style have different impact in the life of the employees or the
followers. As the leadership, qualities of Dean L. Hubbard had helped in the development of
the innovation in an organisation that has been inspiring people to work. The leaders must not
only be responsive but also consider the employees as an important aspect of the
organisation. The leaders should be humble and kind to his employees as it will help in the
spiritual respect towards the leader. However, it was evident that the leadership will help in
the improvement of the working style of the employees being responsive.
