1LEADERSHIP FOR CONTEMPORARY ORGANIZATION
Do you think any of these leadership characteristics are more important
than others? Why would these characteristics be more important than
others?
Leadership is an important aspect in every organization. According to scholars,
leadership is important in an organization which helps in maximizing the efficiency of the
organization which helps in achieving the goals of an organization (Smith et al. 2016)
According to the first post, initiating and honesty are important leadership qualities
that help in managing team effectively and contribute to the success of an organization.
However there are skills that are more important communication skills. Communication helps
in building a healthy and a positive relationship between the team members and also helps in
making team members understand the work that needs to be done (Mayfield, Mayfield and
Sharbrough 2015). The ideas generated become incomplete if they are not communicated
well because the leader should clearly show the vision and make their teams are on the same
page as them.
