Tony, who is a service manager generally writes an email to Zenith Automotive parts
about smoking in the courtyard. It is identified that the language that is used by Tony for
raising the problem is quite informal. Thus, it is found that with the help of informal
communication the team members can easily understand the concern and will be able to
resolve it by avoiding smoking in the courtyard. It is necessary for Tony to arrange nonverbal
communication in order to understand their views and concerns. In addition to this, Tony is
confident and it is analyzed that he will be able to influence the team members for not
smoking within the courtyard.
