What was the reason and context for communication?
The main reason for communication in my group is to improve my communication skills and
maintain a robust relationship amid the team members. Another reason for communication is
to develop an effective team because of accomplishes goal and the objective. Additionally, I
want to make a stress and conflict free team where each individual contributor in an effective
manner to complete the task of organization. Moreover, I freely communicate on the front of
team members, which can be caused of emerging efficient team in an organization. I openly
discuss with the team members regarding their assigned work due to successfully attain the
objective (Barrett, 2006). Along with this, I systematically converse with team members and
remind them towards the common goal of team to make an operative team in an organization.
It was supportive to enhance my communication skills together with making a strong
relationship with team members in long-term. At the same time, it can be said that an
effective team can be supportive to enhance profitability and growth of an organization in
long-term.
Who were the persons relevant to the communication context?
The employees of organization were the people who relevant to the communication context.
Because, the main reason of my communication is to inspire a huge number of employees to
establish an effective team within an organization. Therefore, it can be said that building of
an effective team is fully depending on the employees in absence of workers it cannot be
possible. Hence, as per my experience, persons or employees can be essential to the
communication context (Batool, 2013).
What may environmental and personal factors have impacted on the success of the

Environmental and personal factors are major factors that directly impact on the success of
communication. Environmental factors are not controlled by people while the personal
factors can be eliminated or reduced by the person successfully. The personal factor includes
perceptual, language; emotional, physical, and cultural, barriers are the factors that affect the
communication. As well as, the environmental factors involves noise, climate, and location of
communication that resist a leader to perform successful communication in an organization
(Bolman, et al., 2017).
What was the desired outcome of the communication?
I have desired to improve many factors from the communication such as motivate a large
number of employees, enhance the job satisfaction level, and improve interpersonal skills.
Others are personality development; improve confidence level, and improving written and
verbal communication skills. Additionally, I examined that such factors are essential to
successfully make an effective team in an organization (Weisband, 2013).
What were the available methods of communication? Evaluate these against their
suitability for your specific communication requirements.
I was used some significant methods to communicate with my team members on the
particular subject such as Verbal, Written, and Oral communication method. In the verbal
communication, I have communicated with my team in words by using critical chat, and
storytelling. As well as, written communication was complete by social media and email.
Similarly, I have also used the oral communication where I used the face to face
communication via conducting a meeting with employees. So, it can be said that such
methods are essential to successfully communication (Cameron, et al., 2014).
What potential barriers did you identify? How did you minimise the impact of these?
I have found some different kinds of communication barriers, which may be common in the
communication process such as language barriers, cultural differences, concentration issue,

physical disabilities, emotional barriers, and dissimilar perception barrier. Additionally, on
behalf of my experience, I think that such factors directly affect the communication and play
a major role in the failure of communication. At the same time, I have also addressed
different kinds of strategies, which can be supportive to minimize such communication
barriers in an efficient manner. These are identifying the language of employees, make a calm
and clean atmosphere for communication, interact with employees during the section, and
learn about employee’s culture (Coombs, 2014). Further, I identifying the languages and
culture of employees due to attracting employees and create the interest regarding the section.
It could eliminate the language and cultural barrier of communication. Additionally, I have
interacted with my team members during the section because of eliminating the physical
disabilities and develop the interest successfully. I also make a calm and clean environment
for conversing with employees, because it could be supportive to increase concentration
power of workforce on the object and eliminate concentration issue significantly.

I have used two significant policy to incorporate in communication process such as email,
occupational, health, and safety policy. Firstly, I incorporate such policies for communication
process at the time of workforce orientation, and training and development to assure all
workforces for comprehend the outlooks (Tannenbaum, et al., 2013). In additionally, I have
used email policy for communication, where I informed all employees to use the computer or
other resources of office could be exercise for accomplishment of an organization goal.
Furthermore, in case any employee spread confidential information of company outside by
office computer then they can be terminated. The work related and health and safety policy is
used for the employees, where employees cannot come in office in case they are influence of

I have used different kinds of media to communicate with my team member or employees in
a significant manner. These are verbal and non-verbal communication media, which are
significant for communication and accomplishment of the object. I have used the verbal
method by including the oral and written method where I communicate with my employees
through speaking, writing, listening, and reading. It was supportive for me to make an
effective team due to eliminating the all issues of employees by communicating successfully
within an organization. In additionally, I have also used the non-verbal method by including
the motion, touch, appearance, individual appearance, physical response, calm, and closeness.
Moreover, I analyzed that such non- verbal factors helps to make a strong relationship with
employees together with building an efficient team in the working place (Fairhurst, et al.,
2014).
How did you incorporate respectful and positive approaches into your communication?
I have used some significant activities to conduct a positive and respectful communication
with my team. These activities are to make a rule regarding code of conduct, motivate
employees, always react as a positive behavior, make a friendly atmosphere, and learn the
behavior of employees. I analyzed that code of conduct can be beneficial to determine the
behavior of employees within the working place. Additionally, on behalf of the code of
conduct, I decided that which kind of behavior could be conducted within an organization
that was successful for making a respectful communication. I also react positively with
employees because it positively inspires them to conduct a respectful communication with
others. At the same time, I also make an enthusiastic and friendly atmosphere within an

I have developed two kinds of way to perform a two-way process within an organization in a
significant manner. These are vertical and horizontal communication method. The vertical
communication method is used in case I directly communicate with any particular employees
within an organization. But, when two same rank employees communicate with each other
called horizontal process. In additionally, I addressed that both vertical and horizontal two-
way process is significant for the communication in long term. Along with this, I also
examined that through the vertical process employees communicate with me regarding their
personal and professional issues for getting a favorable result. Moreover, when employees
think that their issues can be solved by their colleagues then they used the horizontal two-way
process to communicate in the organization (Men, 2014).

I have incorporated some significant things, which are important for getting the accurate
feedback such as ways of service delivery, valuation approaches, materials, learning results,
and places. In additionally, I have found that such specified area of feedback can provide an
overview of the entire business in less time. At the same time, there are some significant
factors that are included by me to seek feedback such as customers, workforces, managers,

the feedback regarding the services. Moreover, interview, survey, questionnaire, email, and

feedback by which a leader or an organization can successfully obtain the accurate feedback

team within an organization. These are such as conduct face to face meeting; interact with
social media, and email. From the application of face to face meeting, I got ideas, opinion,
and view of employees regarding the specified object that demonstrates the level of
understanding of workforces regarding the object. At the same time, I have also used social
media to interact with specified clients, and employees and know the gaps to make an
effective team within an organization. The cross questioning also demonstrated the
understanding of team members towards the common goal. I have also used the email method
to solve the issue of employees and directly communicate with them regarding the personal
and professional issues; a response of email could clarify the interest and understanding of
employees. Therefore, it can be said that such all factors are significant to make an effective
team in an organization (Neufeld, et al., 2010).

I have used meeting minutes to record the whole process of communication and outcomes
significantly. The meeting minutes include different kinds of elements such as Contributors,

activities that are dedicated through contributors, due times to complete the commitments and
any subject which will be discussed in the upcoming meeting. I have used such process to
keep records of the communication process and outcomes in a significant manner. I have also
used some significant or standardized strategies to keep communication record in long term
within an organization, which could be essential to make an efficient team. At the same time,
it will also be significant to enhance productivity and growth in long-term (Schneider, et al.,
2015).

to get more alternative solutions regarding the aim, which could also be effective to
accomplish the task of an organization. Moreover, an attitude of leader should always be
calm and positive due to attracting employees for smooth communication in long-term
