When we talk about the problem-solving aspect, it mainly highlights the individual’s ability,
skills to solve issues in an effective and timely manner without any impediments. This aspect
involves certain important factors such as identifying and defining the particular problem,
generating alternative solutions, evaluate and select the best alternative and lastly, implement the
selected solution. In all this aspect, according to my skills, I possess effective communication
skills, active listening team building, and decision-making and create and innovate solutions,
which majorly help the solving major issues in relation to problem-solving (Zhou, Hirst, &
Shipton, 2012).
When we talk about Steve job's abilities, skills and qualities it mainly highlights about his
unbelievable imagination, which makes the company, condition better with every situation which
he and the company faces. Other than this, his uncanny ability and skills help in developing and
designing technology, which people love to use. Therefore such aspects highlight his innovative
and interactive thinking about the company as well as society. Moreover, his effective
communication skills, the way he treats the employees in his company, highlights his
extraordinary ability, which helps in attracting potential customers at large (Wiek, et al, 2011).
Furthermore, in terms of the problem-solving aspect, Steve's job abilities and skills highlight that
he works with more focus, which reduces the error, work within the company. Simplicity, which
he thought, comes from conquering not just merely ignoring complexity in the best to get deeper
into the product. Other than this, he always takes responsibility end to end, which reduces the
issue within the company and generates earlier going work within the workstation. Lastly, he
only believes in pushing his employees for perfection, which reduces the obstacles within the
work and due to the generation of face-to-face communication helped him a lot in gaining
success in the long run (Wüstenberg, Greiff, & Funke, 2012).
According to my opinion, the tools, strategies, and methods that I would consider for making
effective returns is a focus over the problems, generating alternative solutions to problems and
by applying effective communication, focus strategy, following uncanny ability for developing
and designing technology so that it leads to the effective returns. Furthermore, the strategy which
I would avoid is with respect to problem-solving is that the person should never give power in
the hands of a single person rather they should follow centralized power which allows every
employee to participate in every decision. Other than this, I would never make the working

environment complex as this aspect mainly affects the within a condition of the company (Elliot,
& Simon, 2011).
When we talk about conflict management, the skills, abilities, and knowledge, which I possess,
mainly highlights the active listening skills, clear and effective communication skills,
collaboration and teamwork, decision-making ability, having a quality of maintaining a good
relationship. Lastly, I possess the ability to maintain ethical standards and reliability to promote
the trusting environment for negotiations within a system to avoid conflict and managing them
within the management.
Furthermore, when we talk about the Steve jobs, it is hard for him to manage the complex
situation to solve them within conflicts for that he mainly applies the correct style of
communication while handing the grievances which are faced by the employees, listen both the
sides of issues a than further take actions accordingly. Moreover, without being impartial and try
to access the conflict situation from all sides to come up with fair decisions, which are in a fair of
both, and generates a reasonable solution. Other than this, he also focuses on encouragement,
motivation and broadcast praise, which helps him in generating effective management outcomes,
which also leads to a reduction in conflicts within management (Hesse, et al, 2015).
According to my opinion, to solve any issue or conflict it is important to have an effective listen
to power or active listening to manage and resolve conflicts. Other than this, emotional
intelligence, which helps in reading and understanding the emotions of others, is also one of the
skills to reduce the conflicts within the organization. Moreover, positivity and open
communication also help in resolving the issues, which influence the employees’ nature and
negatively affects the overall management performance. Lastly, assertiveness, which deals in
with expression of beliefs, feelings, and thoughts of an individual so to deal in with any conflict
situation, one has to deal with situation with honesty, directness and appropriateness which helps
in building employees effectiveness towards work also helps organization for effective
performance and higher returns (Teece, 2012).
From the above essay, we can conclude that every leader needs certain skills, knowledge, and
ability for improving the overall performance of the organization. In respect to that he/ she has to
follow certain skills such as focused strategy, generate innovative skills, be truthful, have an

effective listen power or active listening, emotional intelligence, assertiveness, simplicity and
lastly, effective communication which not only helps employees in motivating to perform better
and also help organization at large for their effective and efficient returns.
