INTRODUCTION
In the current study various articles on human resource management will be reviewed and
own experience will be reflected by researcher.
MAIN BODY
By going through article of Amy C. Edmondon topic ”Lessons from successful
cross-industry teams” I got to know organizations have to deal with suppliers, customers,
partners, competitors. Participants from different intellectual worlds have difficulty to work
together in a team because of changes in language, culture etc. In such condition leaders are
responsible to manage tension of the workplace (Amy C. Edmondson, 2016). They have
developed clarity in purpose and have to concentrate on potentially shifting of goal. Promoting
psychological safety is the best way through which health team environmental can be created by
human resource manager and leaders. But argument have been done on this article that cross
industries have to go through scope changes. Poor planning can affect overall objective of the
company.
Ed Catmull has written article on “Pixar fosters collective creativity”. From the study I
have experienced that learning plays significant role in the cross culture companies. When
managers have to deal with different culture people then by providing necessary training to
involved persons interaction can be developed between different cultural people. Creativity is
much more depended upon the quality of leaders (Ed Catmull, 2017). It is the duty of leader that
to listen ideas of all people and discuss the working progress. By encouraging skilled employees
and paying more attention on innovation companies can bring creativity in their operations.
Teresa Amabile, Colin M. Fisher and Julianna Pillemer have written literature “ideo's
culture of helping”. I have experienced that behaviour of individual can not changed by forcing
them. If leaders or managers inspired then employees can make changes in their behaviour and
attitude. From the study I have learned that involvement of people in the decision making
process can encourage the persons and can make them loyal towards the brand. If low level
people can share their feeling with top management willingly then it can support in brining
innovation in the workplace because such people will share their innovative ideas with the
management which may support in improving overall performance of the company (Teresa
Amabile, Colin M. Fisher and Julianna Pillemer, 2014). For making changes in the workplace it

is essential that management work hard and develop trust among all level of workers. By shifting
political battles and making them aware to learn from mistakes opportunities can be developed.
Furthermore, Eoin Whelan, Salvatore Parise, Jasper de Valk and Rick Aalbers have
written article on “ creating employee networks that deliver open innovation”. By going through
this article I have experienced that Research and development (R&D) is the most essential part
of business unit (EOIN WHELAN, SALVATORE PARISE, JASPER DE VALK AND RICK
AALBERS , 2011). If entity has strong R&D team those who can search about the condition
internally and externally then it can help in gaining competitive advantage. It is experienced by
me that people those who are technically sound, they work regularly and perform work
effectively. But companies need to look at the outside environmental in order to analyses current
trends. This can bring creativity and improve operational efficiency.
CONCLUSION
From the above study it can be concluded that skills and ability of leader plays significant
role in resolving work based problems. Involvement of employees, motivation and R&D support
the firm in developing opportunities and gaining competitive advantage.
