 Brand image of ASUS was destroyed due to
posting the wrong statement “The rears look
pretty nice” with the picture of girl on social
media.
 There are lots of people tweet against the
company on its page.

unprofessional behaviour of the company towards

Potential Consequence
This post spread the negativity across the world.
The result of this crisis is that the organisation
brand image was fall down.
The company loose its customers
People stop buying the company’s product,
Women’s and families are more against the
company and decided to not to buy the product.

Leadership style
 Autocratic leadership style is appropriate for the
company in this situation.
 Autocratic leader always take their own decision without
any help of employees.
 The leader gives the instruction to employees to do the
work without taking any advice of employees (Nwlink,
2018).

Advantage of Autocratic
• There is centralised authority system in the organisation
which cause the result effective.
• It helps to take the quick decision as the advice of
employees does not taken by the leader.
• It help to kept the secret related to the confidental
matters among the management (Money Matters, 2018) .
• The leader inspires the employees to do the work
effectively.

Disadvantage
 The employees are totally relies on the
decision of a leaders.
 Employees are not helps the organisation just
because of lack of capabilities.
 The employees are getting demotivated as the
leader does not take their advice while taking
the decision (Future of Working, 2018) .

Recommendation
It has been recommended that the leader has to work some
areas in order to overcome the disadvantages. These are as
follows:
 Give the responsibilities to employees to do the work so
that their capability and ability will enhances.
 The leader has to collect the feedback to understand the
employees point of view towards their work (Alexandre,
2013).
 The leader has to organise the discussion events, and
seminars to take advice from employees so that they does
not getting demotivated in performing their own
responsibilities.
