VARIOUS ASPECTS OF MANAGEMENT
Importance of having a crisis communication plan within any organization
Having a crisis communication plan is one of the best parameters that is essential within
any given organization, most so those organizations that have already made a robust and reliable
reputation across large populations of their customers (Carne, Kennedy & Gray, 2012). Whether
an organization is just beginning to think about it by internal communication within its
boundaries, it is still amid some existing internal communication plan or even trying as much as
possible to fine tune a well-oiled machine that is meant explicitly for communication purposes.
In other words, communication appears to be an instrument of strategy and itself it is also a form
of policy that stands on its own (Baum, Bartram & Hrudey, 2016). This is just because it allows
the organization to come on board and be able to share its mission, vision, and even all value
related issues among the employees.
On the other hand, during the occurrence of any form of emergency, it is always essential
to develop appropriate communication techniques with any given organization. Whenever any
business operations are altered, nearly all the customers will create the urge of knowing exactly
how they will be impacted as a result of the entire process. At the same time, almost all the
regulators may need an appropriate notification together with the government officials who will
also want to be alerted about what is taking place within the surrounding community. One of the
essential components that are related to the preparedness program will always be a crisis
communications plan. Any given business must still be able to develop some form of prompt
response that should ever be done inaccurate and confident manner during the period of
emergency.

Moreover, this should be done within the few hours and even days that follow right after
the occurrence of the whole tragedy. Also, most of the audiences must always be approached
with appropriate information that strongly relates to all their needs and interests. The step of a
ready business will still provide one of the most appropriate and relevant directions that will be
used to implement a reasonable crisis development plan. Having a clear understanding of every
audience is the key that aims towards coming up with an appropriate solution in real time. Nearly
all organizations are expected to have a balanced and adequate crisis communication plan
regardless of them being big or small organizations. A good crisis communication plan will be
able to come on board and adequately serve a guide book that aims towards navigating various
issues that are attached to complex situations most so the one with the capability of profoundly
affecting the profitability together with the robust and reliable reputation of a specific
organization (Vardarlıer, 2016). Coming up with a crisis management plan is one of the easiest
decisions to make within an organization. What is unique about it is that it doesn't require any
condition that is related to forethought. According to research, quite some businesses are not able
to implement the use of crisis plan right before the occurrence of any form of crisis. This is quite
dangerous and can make them be caught off-guard when quite some issues don't go the expected
way, and at the same time, wrong information starts to circulate across large populations of their
respective customers situated in various places.
Aforementioned, one of the best importance of having a crisis communication plan
within any organization is that all the customers together with the interested individuals and
bodies will have adequate and reliable information that best suits their expectations thus reducing
levels of tension across the groups. Both the confident and assertive forms of communication are
known to have the potential of focusing much attention on some of the essential aspects that are

attached to a given problem thereby moving the whole process to higher levels of resolution
regardless of the type and condition of the surrounding environment. It provides a chance to an
organization for it to clearly understand that all the media representatives are known to have one
of the most reliable obligations when it comes to providing adequate information to all their
targeted audiences, and due to the situation, they will be able to obtain that report whether the
organization cooperates or not. As a result of the case, if the organization doesn't comment on the
outcome, it must be sure that someone else is likely to come on board and say about it. On the
other hand, a crisis communication plan deeply analyses a situation; after that, it comes on board
with a final and understandable outcome without making any assumptions of even without
dealing with probabilities at all. Implementation of a crisis communication plan within any given
organization makes that organization to be well prepared when it comes to addressing matters
pertaining a specific type of crisis that has just occurred thus coming up with an appropriate and
reliable solution that will prevent any further occurrence of that crisis in the coming future. In as
much as emergencies are always unpredictable and strongly rely on nature, it is still essential to
list down and be able to have full preparation for the occurrence of all the adverse outcomes. At
the same time, it is also possible to implement some form of a communication system with the
capability of being activated during the occurrence of an emergency. Additionally, it adequately
improves the communication culture that exists between the top management team of a given
organization, their employees together with a certain number of potential customers known to be
coming from various places. Crisis communication plan within any given organization has got
the potential of making a follow-up regarding multiple situations; it provides an opportunity to
come up with some of the most appropriate amends most so to all the individuals who are

What it means to be a transparent type of an organization
Transparent kind of an organization means an organization that is open to quite some
situations (Schnackenberg & Tomlinson, 2016). For an organization to be transparent, it says
that there is some form of openness that exists between the top management team of the
organization and its employees where every operation that is carried out positively benefits the
employees without creating some form of discrimination.
Variables that need to be considered by an organization during decision-making
processes
Type of audience- The kind of attendance should be able to determine the kind of
information that an organization should share and the ones that it should avoid (Elbanna, 2016).
Every audience should be given appropriate information that suits their interests to prevent any
form of confusion.
Nature of the information- This reveals the condition of a given type of information as
to whether it is sensitive or not, more sensitive information should not be shared across a kind of
audience given since this is likely to lead to the emergence of certain dangerous situations that

How an organization should make decisions that are associated with releasing a
given type of information.
The organization should do a thorough analysis of the information and be able to write
down every issue that is associated with it. (Argote & Miron-Spektor, 2011). After that, it should
be able to release the information to the targeted audience. The organization should be able to
withhold any information that is not clear to them to avoid the spread of the wrong type of data
within a short period.
