INTRODUCTION
Reflective learning is a form of learning that helps the students to learn from their own
experience by reflective of the same. All the required skills that are necessary for the students
and the one that will help them to get good employment opportunities (Yuan and Mak, 2018). A
student undertakes various workshops that also enhances their knowledge and helps them to
perform effectively. This report is based on placement diary as experience of being manager in
Indian Heaven Limited. It is a restaurant in United Kingdoms that provide Indian food to their
customers. Their services include dine-in, take away and delivery. There is discussion related to
various challenges that are being faced at the time of doing group tasks and managing the
situation. The interviewers hire the candidate who has ability to overcome all the challenging
situations in effective manner. There is evaluation of strengths and weaknesses so that they are
able to get placement opportunity. Along with that, there is evaluation regarding employability
skills as they help to perform in most suitable manner while doing the job. In the end, there is
development of professional development plan as it helps to enhance the potential skills.

There is key role of job opportunities as they motivate the individuals to perform effectively.
I was placed as Manager in Indian Heaven Limited. First of all, I understood the job
specifications and duties over there. I was so much excited and happy to become manager of the
company. Along with that I was nervous as it was a big responsibility. A manager of the
company must have desired skills and knowledge of manage the team and assign them work
effectively (Black and van Esch, 2020). I interacted with all the team members and build
relationship with them. There is key role of communication skills so that all the team members
are able to follow the instructions and understand them. I have habit of asking doubts to my team
members so that of they face any problem then the same is solved at right time. I am also good at
team management skills. I regularly take feedback from the team members so that I am able to
make changes in the pattern of work. I learn daily form my mistakes as that will enhance my
skills and knowledge. In, Indian Heaven Limited my job role was to bring coordination among
all the departments and to check their progress on regular interval of time. It is necessary to
manage the work among the team members so that they are able to achieve goals and objectives
successfully. I also understood the laws and legislations that are being followed by the business

working of the employees. I keep on motivating the employees so that they are able to perform
effectively. The motivation is necessary for the success of the employees as they are able to work
with more dedication (Loan, 2020). I was fresher and given the work of manager for the first
time. I used all the theoretical knowledge so that I am able to carry on my work in best manner. I
analysed my job role and worked to achieve success for the business and my own working. This
helps me to work with patience and manage the working in effective manner. Daily I am able to
learn new things while working and I will use them to carry on my work as manager.

organisation. The employees are unable to carry on the work and come up with new problems on
regular basis. There is need of having critical thinking skills as they help to come out of the
situation and manage the working effectively. I also work with professionalism and work ethics.
