INTRODUCTION
As a leader, it is essential to be quite strong and developed mentally since the person has to manage a
lot of people. A leader is someone who besides getting the work done, has to plan for the future course
of the team or the organization, and has to ensure that the team is working hard enough, employee
well being, general communication and the confidence of the employees are all well kept.
Hence, it is essential to understand that developing a self worth is essential, and for this a self insight is
needed.
Self insight ensures that the leader is able to reflect on oneself and understand how and where things
went wrong, and how can the situation be improved.

Self-insight generally implies the level of understanding that exists relative to the nature of one's self-
system (self-definition, needs, goals, attributes), while self-knowledge relates to the accuracy of

Leadership styles gets affected adversely by the process of self insights in a leader. Self insight not only
allows the evaluation of oneself, but also ensures understanding the self relative to the situation and
taking corrective measures.
Hence, I believe I changed for good and from now on, I will ensure a lot of success for my team with the
