Introduction
In the recent times there has been several changes in the manner in which the responsibilities
are instantiated both on the professional and personal advents. The demand for alleviating the
personal attributes in accordance to the evolving skill set has become of prime importance
(Mencl, 2016). This in turn has reflected on enunciating the prospect of the individual to
aspire for achieving more out of their career aspirations. The use of the interpersonal skills
has been asserted with the mean dos influences in the subjects of professional ethics and the
personalities taking up these behavioural patterns have resulted in the development of
organisational culture. The roles of the manager have been implied through the opinions and
concepts of professional ethics as well. The reliance of developing interpersonal skills and
employee relations is imperative to impart control within the team (Grace and Cohen, 2016).
The objective of this reflective journal transcend on representing the core competencies of
my personality traits on the lines of evaluation that would help me in developing of my nature
as an influential manager. The plan is assigned in order to work on the identified gaps present
in my attribute set of team working, conflict resolution, time management and focus.

What is the core skill?
The team working is one of the efficacies that asserts on coordinated efforts to inflict on the
means of generating valuable contributions in achieving a particular objective (Dyer, 2016).
The skills of teamwork are important to the alleviation of understanding the interpersonal
skills and reflect on them to impart efficient communication while I work in a group. The
term teamwork further describes on the aspects of identifying the differences in the personal
attributes and build on collective development

In order to assert myself as one of the skilled manager, I think I need to know how to manage
a team effectively. If I have to achieve such efficiencies I belief the skill of team working is
important to the alleviation of my purposes. I lead a small team now and in order to motivate
them to perform optimally I think the possession of the teamwork is necessary. I have opted
for this skill as I have observed through the study in the subjects of Belbin team roles that the
assigning of responsibilities in a team in accordance to the responsibilities is of paramount
importance (Lynch et al., 2016).

undertook online tests and had transcended on the efficacies of the high scores on working in
an efficient manner and measured my competence level to be on the higher grounds. I have

required to develop my ability of resolving issues among the employees. The seniors have
similar opinions about my lack of identification of the problems and improper means of
handling it. I feel that I seriously lack in this domain as I often have observed myself in the
position where I have became impatient when the circumstances are dragged for too long.

to achieve in this skill. I have implementing the learning attained through the theories I have
studied in Bucket of Rock theory while managing my team of 9 members and I have seen to
alleviate my competence in it.
