Introduction
Leadership is an important concept to improve personality that can create ability to lead a
team, which is a particular set of people while achieving business goals. It is important to
understand the opportunities while managing phase and department. The report reflects
qualities of any leader with an aim to get deeper understanding of the reflective models for
self-improvements. Further, I have a team available in books, where most importantly I have
tried different perspective and several feedbacks of other person and then reach conclusion so
that I can implement traits in the personality. The report will undertake the creation of
leadership development plan by examining leadership style. This evaluation will them lead to
positive changes that can boost morale of leadership roles in an appropriate manner.
Implementation can enhance communication skillset and other self-awareness programs,
which can continuously receive feedback, create empathy, and active listening. The reflective
report can bring GROW model and intentional changing model so that an individual can learn
regularly and can receive feedback (Rahbi, Khalid, & Khan, 2017).
Current roles and responsibilities
I have perceived that a leader is important at each level of management. A leader is quite
important to collaborate making of policies and plans. It is important to execute programs and
plans where subordinates get proper instruction and then acquire acknowledgement with
respective leader of department while focusing on the focused goals. Current role of a leader
is quite different from traditional leader, as current leader must undertakes activities, which
can motivate subordinates through either incentive policy or awarding them in front of whole
audience. A leader plans many outdoor activities and award functions so that they can also
engage in different activities. Being an intern of automobile sector, there is greater need to
manage the risks associated with the operations and its impact on health and safety concerns

of employees (NAGENDRA, & FAROOQUI, 2016). While practising internship, I have seen
that as suggested by the team leader, employees has to be dedicated, careful, and focused
while operating machines and technology, which would finally appreciate them (Henry,
2019). In my internship, I perceive that several opportunities come to employees to prove
their performance as with increasing competition, the role of current leaders have changed. I
can rebuild inner tendency and then achieve learnings where leadership traits change with the
people because team members gets appreciation (Khan, 2016). During my internship, I have
felt that opportunities have come through which I have rebuild inner learnings as it can differ
from person to person due to cultural diversity. Team leader is quite able to generate mutual
understanding between customer`s need and production. A leader can suggest appropriate
leadership style, which is the integration of laissez-faire and democratic leadership. This kind
of leadership states that employees can opt to take their own decision by their own, which
indicates that they are empowered by their leader in decision-making style. Democratic
leadership delegates equal chance to employees and then give them utmost satisfaction
(Mahmood, 2020).
Aspects of leadership journey
The journey starts from imposing pressure to direct the team members so that it can attain
targeted goals. Being a youth learn ant, I will definitely receive many opportunities to
improve myself while reshaping the personality. From all the leadership laid down to achieve
success at workplace, traditional books would comply with essential skills communication,
positivity, feedback, motivation, delegation, trustworthiness, creativity, and many more
(Money, 2017). A leader must have effective communication skills, which includes active
listening and promote open door policies so that a leader can have regular conversation to
workers and know their concern (Henry, 2019). While producing at highest level, motivation
plays an important role as overtime from the part of employees will be provided as allowing

employee, asking for input, and mentoring, team building, convincing and opening the
concern for employees. Whole leadership journey connect the actions of the company to final
performance, which depends on the variety of theories (Saleem, Aslam, Rafiq, & Rao, 2019).
Gallup strength and leadership journey
Core aim of this finding tool is to find weaknesses and strengths while answering many
questions, which has create loopholes between what we want to achieve and what we have
achieved yet. The result of conducting this technique will give us five main weaknesses and
strengths. The main aim is to test and decide plan so that leadership development plan can be
created. The strengths which I found in me includes patience, creating positive sense of
motivating, caring, empathetic, friendliness, encouragement, and generating feedback
(Antunes, & Franco, 2016). On the other hand, negative characteristics includes lack of
communication skills, maintaining punctuality, planning budget, and understanding of
corporate culture that creates trustable attribute of the workplace environment. Strengths
according to Gall up model, which will remain restorative, ensuring that individuals can bring
high passion and comfort between subordinates. More strengths include high team spirit and
become optimistic and then continue as leader and maintaining leadership journey. As a
manager, leader can manage duties and they communicate between team to adopt changes
that cannot be affected by economic crisis. Due to dynamic nature of business, there is a
greater need to employ risks management tools by management and held leaders responsible
to prepare for critical, sudden, and other unexpected things. More weaknesses includes that I
am not able to perceive the future situation, and ineffective sticking to communication
(Money, 2017).

Feedback on adoption of leadership style
When I was in training and completing my internship, I worked on managing budget plans
from finance department. Furthermore, I learnt from the operational manager how he
manages maximum production with minimising the absenteeism of the employees. This is the
implication and effect of leadership style adopted (NAGENDRA, & FAROOQUI, 2016).
Effective communication can share the ideas that can reduce the data that is not at all
appropriate. A democratic leadership style induces the employees to take their own decision
by conducting transparent environment (Saleem, Aslam, Rafiq, & Rao, 2019).
Implication of feedback
As far as impact is concerned, feedback is connected to development of leadership actions,
which is certainly related to offering of range of opportunities and advantages so that it can
easily determine motivational factors, self-leadership, and abilities with an aim to enhance
leadership traits and skillset. I will manage my weaknesses and conquer them all in short term
or long term to become a good leader (Clipa, 2018).
Associating conceptual frameworks and leadership development plan
The most common used conceptual frameworks include GROW model and intentional
change model. Leadership development plan can bring steps that will include development
goals, assessing leadership traits, personality, considering value, self-perception, applying
vision statement, and finally develop skills to grow and develop (Bartels, 2018). The model
used here as per the weaknesses include goal setting, opportunities, finding opportunity, and
willing to adopt the changes. GROW model is suitable to resolve issues and it is not limited
to concentrate and find goals leading to support when making action plan, which can
accomplish the goals (Saadati, 2016). Below are the steps-

I have perceived that once I will be able to set my short-term and long-term goals then it
becomes easier to fix goals for short term as within the time of 6 months. For long-term
goals, one has to accomplish goals for more than one year. I have set targets for organisation
and team members. For next few months, I have started inducing the team member regarding
overtime to produce more goods. Once they are convinced, I would definitely introduce
incentive plans for the sake for motivation. Sales revenue can be reached at higher point
when employee produce high amount of goods. Each member must be aware of its
accountability and responsibility (Clipa, 2018). A leader has to undertake knowledge for each
concept of attaining EOQ, basic depreciation data, scarp handling, and minimising the extent
that can increase production. Team can use autocratic for greater control and profitability,
which sometimes can convert for autocratic for greater special objectives. It is crucial to
examine maintaining and accountability of motivational level of team members that could
concern for myself too as an intern. As far logistics department is concerned, it is seen that
overloading of trucks is not safe in relation to health concerns. Therefore, a manager and
leader will have to undertake policies and establish ethical code of conduct for the
organisation (Bonsu, & Danso, 2018).
Reality-
It is quite complex while dealing with most suitable decision, which can be made only
through overall strategies of operational level, logistics, marketing and finance. Training for
new employees for upcoming next three months can enhance the productivity. Every month
to increase the sales and profitability, we are planning to recruit one employee in one month
on an average. There is a need to work smartly and efficiently to become a strong leader
(Joshi, 2017). I have seen that in order to achieve maximum, team workers must be
continuously promoted and rewarded, as it is the source of motivation. Teammates and my

leader can offer positive feedback while reviewing leadership skills (Alghazo, & Anazi,
2016).
Obstacle-
Issues relevant to severe competition is most for organisation for leadership roles and
promotion. The organisation can prefer fresh blood but there is a challenge in managing
culturally different people (Eldad, & Benatov, 2018). Machines installation in the production
department necessitates number of training session needed. An effective leadership method,
style and approach differs form organisation to organisation where there is a scope of
improvement to solve conflicting situation (Sidhar, & Mehta, 2018).
Forward way-
This step is quite significant in GROW model, which assists in identifying far forward to
achieve goals that are defined in overcoming elaborated difficulties. Most crucial is to
achieve goals above overstated obstacle with an aim to deliver 150 percent of total capacity
(Daher, Guillaume, & Crawshaw, 2018). One has decided to open and promote democratic
leadership to suggest conversation. This can allow team members to reach the issue for
performance, which will be led by performances (Solomon, & Steyn, 2017).
Intentional changing model
This model outlines deficiencies and then come up with strengths to attain high level of
organisational goals. With the assistance of this model, I will have to find attributes such as
self-management, social awareness, self-awareness, and relationship management.
Improvements can be made with the help of intentional changing model. Every element
describes mentoring, positivity, inspirational, teamwork, empathy, and self-control (White,
2016). The world has been growing rapidly, which would enhance skills, abilities and needs
so that the business can succeed in this fluctuating business pattern. With the help of new

experiences, it is seen that I can continue in order to maintain the effective ongoing procedure
(Shaikh, & Shaikh, 2019). Delegating a part of task is important as it create a sense of
responsibility amongst the employees and subordinates. Whereas, chaos and
miscommunication can lead to ineffective achievements. A leader can become effective in
indicating presenting skills as leader is efficient in communicating and then presenting
resilient presentation skills. More models can link to conceptual framework in presenting
communication skills (Bartels, 2018).
Conclusion
From the above discussion, it is seen that ability of any person can motivate, promote
effectiveness, directs, control and then guides to manage the organisational performance. A
dynamic leader has many attributes and bestow several responsibilities, which can manage
and inculcate talent to adopt with fluctuating environment. The course of planning
development can integrate leadership skills finding weaknesses, and strengths. With an aim to
have better understanding and then create leadership development plan, it is important to
improve the employee`s and leader`s performance, which can lead to organisational
performance.
