Leadership learned
In MBAC I found this article from the year 2021 in order to influence my thinking about
the understanding about the management and leadership growth and development. From this
article I have learned about the importance of having management and leadership skills and its
importance in order to effectively operate any company or institution. I realised having the clear
understanding about the management and leadership will helps me to effectively understand my
roles and responsibilities that will helps in development by career. Through this article I spoke
about the various concept and impact of effectively managing the company by assigning the
roles and responsibilities (Santos, and et.al., 2021). I discussed about the various forms of
leadership skills that is required i.e. Self-awareness, confidence, effective communication and
also understanding the subordinates and support in resolving the issues in the company. I have
learned about the effective leadership style used by the leaders in order to influence their
subordinates. I also understood that is necessary that it is necessary for the company to maintain
favourable organisational culture which creates a feeling of satisfaction. By reading the article I
realised that in order to develop my skills it is necessary for me to focus on making
improvements that will helps me in achieving my career(Floris, Wiblen, & Anichenko, 2020). I
have realised that in order to achieve my future goals it is necessary for me focus on enhancing
my skills and knowledge which can possible through regularly working on it and monitoring the
performance.
Leadership practiced
During my MBA program I had an opportunity to enhance and understand my leadership skills
which will help me to develop my personal and professional development. Through this program
in realised that the importance of having leadership skills as it is important for the leaders to have
required knowledge in order to influence my subordinates and also to maintain healthy
relationship with the co-workers. In our program me and my colleagues was divided in a team
and given the required project(Coleman, & Bourne, 2018). I noticed that while assigning the
work among the members I was taking the initiatives to assign the task as per the capabilities and

that I successfully accomplished my work which also build effective communication with my
team members. Throughout the project we aware regularly coordinating with each other and
asking about the issues and successfully resolved it. With the help of this I not only recognised
my strengths but also about my weakness and decided to focus on improving them in order to
achieve my future goals. Through my MBA program I was able to communicate effectively and
build good relationship which also highlighted my effective communication skills.
Communication skills is considered as essential element in order to be successful in the career.
Apart from this creating the personal development plan will help me analyse my progress and
time taken to achieve them.
I utilized all my learning in the real life and take action as per the learning from MBA. For
increasing my leadership skills I interact with the various students or my friends about my
personal and professional problems with them for analysing their opinion, mindset or the way of
thinking. In the MBA programme I acknowledge that it s important for the leader to determine
and understand the value and the belief of people. Along with that the leader is the one who
inspire various peoples by communicating with the employees or the workers of the organisation.
In context to that I communicate with my friends or the classmates during the assessments. For
instance, when we were performing the task or completing the assignment one of the member of
our group is finding difficulty in completing the task and got nervous at that time. At that
movement I communicate with that individual person and exchange my ideas and enhance the
creativeness for performing the task. As the leader of the group I encourage the individual person
by sharing my creative skills and knowledge because I learned that the leader provide
information in order to improve the performance of the employees. In order to build their
confidence it is important for the leader to share the values and skills with the workers. Apart
from that I coordinate with the workers and involve the other members in the process of decision
making(Megheirkouni,2018).
Leadership forward
Leading and managing the personal as well as professional life it is important to adopt various
plans of action in effective and efficient manner. In order to manage the function of the
organisation it is important to develop the leadership and management development. For the
member were able to understand the concepts of their roles and responsibilities. Then I realised
