Slide 1: Hello, My name is ______ and I would like to help you understand personality and
leadership. My own personal skills are also assessed by me to understand the quality that I would
need to develop within me to become an optimally effective professional. In this video I would
comment on my leadership skills. At the same Time I would comment on the leadership skills of
Elon Musk. Musk is one of the most influential global leaders at this moment. A comparative
understanding of leadership skills and real time leadership can be made through this. First of all I
would present my own skill profile. The results of my Big five personality test stated that I am a
Sentinel role type personality. My personality type was found to be assertive consul. I was found
to be possessing effective communication skills. I was also found to have good communication
patterns. It was found that I have a collaborating style of conflict management skills. (3 minutes)
I would now like to point towards the importance of leadership. The leader that we are
focusing on today is Elon Musk. Elon Musk has been one of the phenomenal leaders of the 21st
Century. He has at the same time contributed greatly to the growth of innovative technology. It is
important to note that he focuses on developing an important framework for improving the
products of his company. He is now a revered figure across the corporate world. This is one of
the reasons that I have decided to choose him. (1 minute)
Slide 2: The person we are assessing through the video is Elon Musk. It is important to know
about his contributions to the corporate world and corporate leadership. We need to know him on
a personal note to begin with. Elon Reeve Musk is aged 48. His residence is in Los Angeles,
California, United States. Elon Musk is an entrepreneur, an engineer and an investor. Hence, it is
good to know that in the corporate world, he is multifunctional. He is associated with more than
one companies. The principle among them are, SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink and Solar City. He has

6 children. It is important to note here that he is very much focused towards innovative business
ideas. He is one of the leading innovative businessmen in the world. (2 minutes)
Slide 3: This is now time to talk about his achievements. Elon Musk was able to establish
himself as a very strong and effective leader in clean energy business. He began however with
the money transfer portal Pay Pal. Pay Pal was one of the earliest successes of Elon Musk. The
platform reached newer heights with the establishment of a strong worldwide network. This is
one of the most important traits of his leadership skills. He likes to diversify his businesses.
Moving ahead a major breakthrough came in 2002. Musk created the SpaceX Company.
Initially, it was an organization for space research. However, moving forward the company
focused on creating the very first privately manufactured Rocket. The company became one the
largest producers of rocket engines in the world. In 2006, NASA offered SpaceX a contract to
make the dragon aircraft. In 2012 SpaceX created history again by launching the very first
vehicle to the International Space Station. Moving forward Musk successfully created the
electronic vehicle company Tesla. Tesla is one of the leading company in the world for
electronic vehicle manufacturing. (4 minutes)
Slide 4: The achievements continued for Musk and his companies. Tesla motors became one of
the prime electronic vehicle manufacturers in the world. The company successful created various
charging stations across the USA to help the electric vehicles. In 2018, the Tesla Model 3
became the world’s best-selling electric vehicle. Hence, we can also say that the Tesla motors
revolutionized electric vehicles. However, these were not the only endeavors for Musk’s superior
leadership skills. The Solar City was established with the focus of creating one of the world’s
largest powers for harnessing Solar Energy. The project was ambitious and focused on creating a
strong framework for establishing a network of renewable energy sources. Solar City is focused

towards harnessing green energy and providing it to the various parts of the world in the future.
It focuses on both energy production and storage. (3 minutes)
Slide 5: Let’s focus on the leadership skills of Elon Musk. He is a transformative leader. One of
his essential strengths is his innovative approaches to everything. He focuses on leading by
example. He supports his own engineers as he has the same background. He is focused more on
Vision and empowerment of all his employees. He wants everyone to strive for excellence. Most
importantly he wants to realize his vision for a cleaner and greener world.
Slide 6: Elon Musk was chosen as he is one of the best candidates for the role. He can help the
world fight climate change in the future. The award for the best leader in the corporate world
should be presented to him according to me. The award can help the country to engage with his
vision for the world. (2 minutes)
