This dissertation investigates the impact of leadership styles on employee performance, using Tesco as a case study. It aims to determine how autocratic, democratic, and laissez-faire leadership styles affect employee satisfaction and overall performance. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, utilizing both qualitative data from interviews with managers and quantitative data from employee surveys. Statistical analysis, including the use of MS-Excel for charts and content analysis for interview data, is planned to analyze the collected data. The study's objectives include assessing the individual impacts of each leadership style on employee performance, providing insights for Tesco to improve leadership practices and enhance employee outcomes.
