In an organization, stating an opinion is worthwhile as an individual has the right to raise his
voice and opinions as and when required. As per the current scenario, many employees find this
coworker to be offensive as he regularly expresses his views or engages. This person must put
his views as it will make him confident and he can also become a role model for employees.
Voicing the opinions will improve the performance of the employees and the otherwise the
performance gradually begins to wane. If coworker wants to be a better leader, it is mandatory to
take initiative and interact with co employees. Also it is the duty of the employer to motivate
other coworkers to speak up and share their thoughts (Alfayad and Arif, 2017).
Coworker’s opinion can also drive discussion and can also help in generating new lines of
alternatives which can ultimately benefit the company on an overall basis. To fuel up the
organizational performance it is necessary to explain your thoughts and strengthen the influence
in the organization. A consistent voice creates unexpected opportunities and this also helps in
acceleration of career. There are high chances that voicing the thoughts could bring self-esteem.
Regretting action is better than regretting inaction and therefore, coworker shall step his opinions
forward. This will not only gain respect in the eyes of other coworkers as well (Holley, Wu and
Avey, 2019).
