Question One.
Current theories on Quantum Energy Management System (QEMS) and emotional
intelligence
QEMS make human energy easy to manage and available as a resource to the employees. When
human energy is accurately applied, it can attract, repel or bond people in an organization
creating a good communication between them. QEMS help leaders harness the potential of
human energy and enables people to keep their energy high when working in the organization.
This makes them provide better decisions concerning organization’s matters. QUEM is also a
preventive measure that is used in dealing with grievances and conflicts. (Tipping, 2006)
Emotional intelligence is the capability of individuals to recognize their own feelings and those
of others, differentiate between the two and label them appropriately, use emotional information
to guide their thinking, behavior and management in order to adapt to the working environment.
(Backlund, 2001)
Applications
Leadership energy can be used to attract communication between people in the
organization which leads to dynamic interactions.
QEMS can be applied in dealing with grievances and conflict between employer and
employees. This will act as a fuel that drives sustainable enterprise and also it will make
people be more responsible for their lives thus making better decisions.

Emotional intelligence enables one to learn how to respond in a variety of business
situation. It enables one to get to be heard more accurately, inspire and motivate others
and also to stand out the leadership presence.
Question Two
Brigham and Women’s Hospital is one of the distinguished hospitals in the US which is
accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambutory Health Care (AAAHC).AAAHC institutes
for quality improvement and adds new standards required by constantly changing healthcare
arena. (Afifi, Thomas, & Ronald, 2013) It offers performance measurement for the institution.
This makes sure that the community it serves gets quality services in terms of checking the safety
of medicine the hospitals describes to their patients and also the qualification of the physicians
who treat the patients at the hospital.
Ethical issue
One of the ethical issue in the institution is the challenge of balancing quality and safety with
efficiency in healthcare. The healthcare manager can resolve this by balancing benefits with the
burden of therapy and also to attempt not to harm while providing benefit to the patient. The
manager can also make sure that the nurses takes care of the patients by being kind to them
Question Three
An example of healthcare initiative that embodies CSR align with section V of Code of Ethics is
health education and promotion to prevent heart disease which its aim is to inform and empower
people about heart diseases. (Taylor, 2013). This in accordance with Section V of Code of Ethics
which supports access to healthcare services for all people in the society.

Roles of managers utilized in this initiative
Coordination of resources of health institutions to enhance community health.
Direct prevention programs of heart diseases to the community.
Asses the effectiveness of the community program by checking the response of the
community members about the heart checkup.
An example of Corporate Social Responsibility in healthcare that I would include in my
management would be;
Offering drugs to the disadvantaged population for free.
Addressing employee’s safety and health at work.
