It is necessary that while planning the decisions must be taken in such a form that reactions of

Reflection on applications of own learning, knowledge and career aspirations.
Simon possesses lots of characteristics which makes them great leader within
PeoplePlusUK. That is the reason that they are able to lead a team of 1600 people across UK. As
per my analysis, I have observed that according to Simon there is no difference to lead a team of
10 members and 1600; it is the passion of individual which shows them the way. I also possess
abilities but not sure whether I can be a good leader or not. I am hard working as well as
committed to my work which has been assigned to me by my tutors or mentors. Hard work along
with enthusiasm is needed for creation of new ideas, development of plan and identification of
resources which are required to accomplish goals. Passion is other crucial factor which drives
leader to deal with challenges faced by employees in carrying out their day to day activities with
7
Document Page
respect to attainment of entire organizational goal (Payandeh and et.al., 2012). I know the fact
that passion is something which leads to motivation for this I need to have a goal which will
drive me to work on achieving it. If I will not be passionate about what I am doing being a leader
then I won’t be able to inspire others who are around me and it will be next to impossible to
attain overall goals. If it seems that it cannot be attained or it is not feasible then its better to
move on rather on holding on to it.
The presentation helped me to have knowledge associated with different aspects related
with entrepreneur that enhanced my curiosity to learn more about specific concept. Entrepreneur
has ability to take risks (Radvansky and Doválová, 2013). I also possess this ability and always
ready for challenges irrespective of what the results may be. With respect to future, I want to be
an entrepreneur and lead a team so that I can make my relevant contributions within society by
bringing something new or by fighting for societal benefits. By describing what is to be done
and how it can be done leads to motivate others. By acknowledging what others feel about it and
addressing their view will bring innovations. I believe that before implementing anything, it must
be evaluated with respect to its feasibility and the results which can be attained by this. The next
step is to analyze that what has been learnt from what has been already occurred so that similar
mistakes can be avoided in future. From this a conclusion can be derived that whether I can
implement that or not and results which I will get will be positive or not. If it seems that
affirmative outcome is attained then action plan can be formulated. Basically, it involves the
characteristics and skills possessed by me so that I can transform dreams into reality in an
innovative manner. In addition to this, I have understood that as an individual I possess abilities
that are necessary for an intrapreneur, social entrepreneur as well as entrepreneur in an strategic
manner. Along with this, I have knowledge with respect to creative thinking depending upon the
situations that exist as well as ways in which they can be resolved through brainstorming. It
denotes that series of options that come into mind depending upon situations which prevails.
From overall analysis. I have found that I have insight into management as well as leadership
styles along with entrepreneurial leadership. By going through diverse styles, I have found that
transactional leadership is apt while leading group of people and make them work as per
guidelines furnished by an individual. It leads to motivate employees as well as provide them
assistance while they are carrying out their tasks.
