INTRODUCTION
International leadership refer to the process of defining the social role that represent the
expectations of the group of the people within the different states. It helps in developing the
group activities and also enhance the collaboration between the number of people that reflects
the leaders disposable. Entrepreneurship play an major role within the country for enhancing the
economy and GDP of the nation. This report includes the specific skills of an entrepreneur that
helps in sustaining within the COVID situation in international business environment. In this
leadership style is also helpful for airline company to rebuild the profits and sustainability of the
Airline (Berman and et. al., 2019).
TASK 1
Identify and critically evaluate specific skills that an entrepreneur possess in today's post COVID
19, international business environment
In business industry it is very essential for the entrepreneurs to adapts the changes as per
the business environment so that trust can be maintain. For this they can develops the skills and
qualities so that changes can be done proficiently. For gaining the higher profits and revenues in
the international business environment it is evaluated that some particular skills are to be needed
that can be shown below:
ď‚· Innovation- It is the best skill of an entrepreneur at the time of the COVID 19 situation.
Due to this effective skill an entrepreneur can highly focus on accepting change and
innovating the new product as per customers needs that is essential for sustaining within
the international and domestic market for a longer period of time (Sarabi and. et .al,
2020).
ď‚· Motivation- It is another particular skill that an entrepreneur can have to implementing
the changes within the organisation. In this a person can become a leader and encourage
their team mates to accept the changes as per the impact of COVID 19. Due to the
pandemic attack company can face the major challenge and do the major changes for this
they can motivates their employees so that they can effectively completing their task
(Naderi and .et .al 2019).
ď‚· Team building- It is one of the best skill of an entrepreneur in which they can focus on
the people working within the organisation. In COVID 19 situation it is very essential

that work can be done effectively and in collaboration even at the locked situation when
employees are working from home. It helps in gaining higher profits and revenues.
ď‚· Emotional intelligence- It refers to the skill that reflects the ability to use, manage and
understand the emotion of the team members and ourselves and reducing the stress,
anxiety and highly focus on the positivity to overcome the challenges. It is very
prominent skill that is reflected with in an entrepreneur where they control on thier
emotions and due to this thier posiotive emotions employees are getting attracted so that
task can be attained on time (Kowo, Sabitu and Bola, 2019).
ď‚· Enthusiasm- It defines that ability of a perosn that reflects the interst in particular subject
and activity. This skill is high;y availavle in entrepreneurs as they have a strong feeling to
do something due to this thier employees are also getting encouraged from this in post
COVID 19 situation (Martin and Javalgi, 2018).

Leadership style refers to that method of providing the direction, motivation and implementation
of plans by a people to thier group of members. The leadership style is highly impacted as a
environmental and cultural impact that canbe represdent at a post COVID 19 situation within the
organisation espiacally airline company(Lee and Kelly, 2019). There are several leadership style
that a airline company can adopts for maintaining the culture and environmental impact and
rebuild the industry in the society. These leadership theoies can be shown below:
ď‚· Behaviourial theory- It refers to that type of leadership theory in which a leader can
focus on examine the behavuiour of thier teamn mates and consequences that are present
in the person environment. In context of the global airline, companies can face trhe major
challenges due to COVID 19 and in this leaders can play an important role to examine the
individual attitudes that includes social distancing and getting high supports from thier
superiors so that they work effectively and attracts the customers effectively on global
nature. In pandemic situation, Analysing the behaviour of an individual helps in
rebuidling the organsation and firm can experince the good image within the

marketplace. Now days individual can focus on safety measures that will impact the
culture of organisation to highly focus on the environment and safety. In this leaders can
apply this theory so that they can implement the standards so that it can satisfy all the
needs of the employees relatesd to the current situation (Decker, 2019).
ď‚· Contingency theory- Effective leadership within the business is very prominent to
gaining the impage of the organisation and reatining the employees for a longer period of
time. In case of global airline, itis very essential for a leader to apply the leadership style
as per the situation occur so that positive results can be enjoyed. Due to the post COVID
impact people are follow the safety measures to travel and also employees are highly
focus on this health, safety and hygines. This theory is very useful because in this a leader
can apply thier style as per the business environment demands. This will enhnace the
liklihood of a airline company and thier leader to manage the things effectivcely and
prominently. In This a leader can communicate the task by encouraging employees to
offers the moentary and non monetary benefits. In this pandemic situiation employees are
very happy to getting the financial motivation due to which they will do thier best and
firm will gain high profits. This will develops the effective culture as per the demand of
the environment(Jafari-Sadeghi, Kimiagari and Biancone, 2019).
ď‚· Transcational vs transformation theory- Transcational theory of leadership is highly
based on the strict management structure in which organistions can highly focus on
attaining the goals and objectivces. In case of the post COVID 19 situation global airline
industries leaders can highly focus on adopting this type of leadership style where they
can implement the strict management structure as per notiocing the major impact occur in
the environment. In this they can follow the strict culture within the firm by focusing on
social distancing, wearing mask, sanitizers, scanning machines etc. So that employees are
not in direct contact with the customers and this helps in rebuidling the organisation in
effective and efficient way. If employees are not following the proper rules and
guidelines related to safety measures than airline companies can punish thier employees
so that mistakes cannot be done and profits will be increased. On the other hand
transformational theory is fully based on the set vision where leadership can adopts
proactive behaviuour in develops the postive nature and also adopts enthisuasm and
charisma for motivating thier employees (Chan, Lim and Uy, 2020). In this global airline

to rebuild thier industry focus on thier employees working that will hgihly impact due to
the major impact of COVID 19. At this time leaders can create an enthusiasm within the
working culture that will impact the organisational culture in positive way and staff
members are working effectively and approrpaitely. In this leaders can mainly focus on
attaining the vision for this they motivates thier employees by folowing all the necassary
safety measures so that they feel safe at the time of working within the environemnt. It
will impact positive in the organisation (Kyvik, 2018).
From the above analysis it is to be evaluated that the airline company can adopts the
transactional leadership style within thier business working culture for rebiudling the
industry within the world at this situation. In this a leader can working for fulfilling the
employees demands so that they have a strong vibes to work within the industry for alonger
period of time. Due to COVID 19 world affected majorly and because of this wearing mask,
sanitizer and face shield and many more safety meaures is very prominent and to rebuild the
airline industry on the global level leaders can highly focus on the safety of the employees by
strcitly developing the structure within the working place so that they work effectively
withoout facing any safey and health issue(Harrison and Leitch, 2018). This COVID
situiation impact negatively the environment and culture and to rebuild the organsiational
cultre in positive manner company can follow the role culture and take all precaution on the
strict guidance so that staff members work effectively and eficiently and this will helps in
attrcating the customers and gaining the highpyofitsd with longer sustainability within the
marketplace.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that International leadership is very prominent term
to understand the situation and dealing the problems effectively and efficiently. It will helps in
managing the work for gaining proficient results within the COVID 19 situation. It also helpful
to acknowledge the several skills of an entrepreneur that is effective for the firm to sustain in the
market even in the pandemic situation.
