Introduction
Culture, ethics and diversity are being considered as the important components in the
management system in the workplace (Fratričová & Rudy 2015). Depending on the ethical
practices in the workplace, right and wrong actions of the company can be analyzed. In order to
introduce productivity as well as successful business environment, the contribution of workplace
ethics, culture and diversity are important. The purpose of this presentation is to shed light on the
challenges that can be faced by the managers in case of introducing productive as well as
effective work environment.

Analyzing the emerging business challenges, it has been identified that based on the
demographic factors such as race, gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, profession and
disability, organizational behavioral characteristics get affected. Depending on such diversities,
positive performance management as well as creativity in the workplace is being ensured.
People can play an important role in terms of ensuring the positive performance in the
workplace. In that case it is very important for the managers to maintain a proper balance
between organizational strategy and people. In order to introduce efficiency in the workplace,
managers need to focus on introducing innovation for ensuring competitive advantage. Strategic
thinking ability of a manager can play an important role in case of enhancing the understanding
capabilities of them. With this strategic thinking ability, individuals’ needs are being analyzed by
the manager (Andreeva et al., 2017). In order to understand organizational environment different
strategic tools such as SWOT, PESTLE, Value chain analysis, competitor analysis, critical
success factor analysis and many more can be done. Before adopting any kind of strategic
initiative market, research is important for successfully implementing the strategic thinking

play an important role for fixing the challenges. By encouraging the internal culture of the

on the work specialization, work activities are being divided by the managers. In terms of
centralizing and decentralizing the decision-making process in the company, functional activities
of the organization are important.
In every organization, human resource department plays a vital role in terms of driving
the performance management system as well as health and safety management in the company.
In order to introduce positive culture ion the workplace through the introduction of term
structure, training and development, reward and recognition and recruitment process, the HR
department contributes towards internal relationship development process (Fratričová & Rudy
2015). In that case the managers can face challenges in case of ensuring health and safety
management practices properly in the workplace.
