Introduction
This study discusses my own successful leadership story as a leader. It also illustrates the
leadership style that motivates me to become a successful leader of the restaurant. It also
includes the suggestion regarding the merger in the UWEAR-PALE DENIM scenario. It will
discuss that as a leader how I will lead the merger in the UWEAR-PALE DENIM.
My own success story as a leader
As a leader of a local restaurant, I have noticed that there is a lack of awareness about the
environment of the restaurant within the employees. The employees are not aware of the
Strategy, organizational problem, and aims of the restaurant. As per my analysis, I have found
that the employees are not aware of the goals and objectives. The workers of the restaurant are
found effortless because they are not motivated towards their work. The employees have
different skills and potential but they are not giving their best to the restaurant in order to achieve
the goal because there is a lack of awareness about the existing environment of the business and
there is a lack of motivation within the employees. They are not even concerned for the
consumers in order to provide great services.
I have taken certain actions in order to resolve the issues. I have set a clear vision by
influencing the workers to understand the future vision of the restaurant and a better structure of
the restaurant (Smedley, 2017). In order to increase awareness, motivation, and skill, the
organization has organized many training programs which include different methods for serving
food to the consumers. In order to motivate them towards the work, I also find out the needs of
the employees and also met such needs which considered a sweet treat of their work. I kept

create awareness within the employees so that they can do their best to achieve a particular goal.
Leadership styles helped me to be successful
Transformational leadership style is a style in which a leader motivates, inspires and
boosts the employees in order to create an aim that will enable the restaurant to grow towards the
growth (Nguyen, Mia, Winata, & Chong, 2017). This leadership style has helped me to become a
successful leader. This style of leadership helps me to motivate and boost the employees for the
development of the restaurant by fulfilling their personal desires. It also encourages an ethical
work environment by setting a clear vision and aim of the restaurant to the employees. Being a
transformational leader I use to inspire the workers through effective communication towards the
way of success. This style also helped me to lead the team of the restaurant for the overall
development of the restaurant. This leadership style also enables the employee to work in a
systematic way (Lanaj, Johnson, & Lee, 2016).
Recommendations for the merger in the UWEAR-PALE DENIM scenario
As a leader, I will make the culture an important component for change management.
During merging the main task is to provide communication (Krapfl, Jon, & Blina Kruja, 2015). I
will consider the strengths and weaknesses of the culture. I will focus on culture in order to
integrate the companies because when left to itself culture will weaken the value creation
(Sinclair & Keller, 2017). Efforts to forwarding culture should depend on the identification that
