The video focuses on the aspect of ethical integrity in a business organization. Before,
the concept of ethics was not clear to me. I had the misconception like many that ethics and
ethical considerations only comes when any crisis arises or if any situation has any moral
questions related to it. I felt that like any other department in an organization ethical integrity
too has some specific tasks to perform like creating work ethics and values and maintaining
the impression of the company (Mintz, 2016). Now I realize that, ethics in organization has a
far more important role to play and the success or failure of an organization largely depends
on it.
Present what you would do different in terms of the solution presented in the

The video presents the solution for ethical integrity as being transparent. Other than
that communication is also another solution for the problem. If I have to come up with
another solution that would solve the problem of any organization regarding ethics, I would
create a team of experts that will make an ethical guideline for the organization. This
guideline will be in alignment with the values and objectives of the organization so that they
do not clash and create further confusion (Crawshaw et al., 2013). This guideline them will
be communicated clearly to the employees and they will be given full disclosure on what is to
be expected from them in terms of ethical behavior.

the Human Resource Management and the leaders of an organization are of utmost
importance (Kolk, 2016). The content of the video is related to ethical consideration and
governance of an organization as well as the role of leadership in an organization that we
learned in the course.

The video demonstrates the industry example of the company Lockheed Martin, one
of the most successful organizations. The organization maintains high ethical integrity and
the leaders and HR perform their duties in an ethical manner. They communicate their ethical
considerations regularly (SHRM Foundation., 2016). The Ethics department is always at
work to ensure that they maintain their high ethical values that have become the very fabric
of their organization.
